This ice pack is not only really nice, well made, high quality materials, it's also versatile too! There are 2 pieces, the cover, which has mesh on one side and neoprene on the other. The 2nd piece is the actual ice pack. It has 5 separate cells/compartments for the cooling gel. This helps to keep the cooling more uniform around the entire ice pack. The velcro straps are attached to the ice pack, not the cover. This way, you can use the pack without the cover or if you put the ice pack inside the cover, you can make it so the neoprene cuts some of the cold. Which is really good, if you're using it directly on your skin. You can also place the pack in the cover, with the mesh side making contact. This is really good if you are putting it on top of fabric from clothing. The velcro on the 2 straps are super STRONG! Unlike my other ice packs, this ice pack is large enough to wrap all the way around my knee. Before I was using 2 ice packs on my knee. This ice pack can be wrapped tight enough around your knee, to walk around a little bit. It is kind of heavy and will slide down your leg, if you don't tighten up the velcro straps enough. You're not really supposed to walk around when you're icing your knee anyway, so not a huge issue. This ice pack is really great! So great, I now have two, so I have one cold, when the other isn't. It really helps if you need to ice a lot after knee replacement! It's not limited to use only on the knee. It's great to lay on, for back pain. You can use it on many achy body parts!

I had partial knee replacement surgery about six weeks ago. I purchased this ice pack about a week ago. I love the way the ice pack wraps around the entire knee! The ice pack from the hospital only covered half of the knee at a time. The straps on this pack are long enough to go around different parts of the body. Since I’ve been walking more, my sciatica has been hurting, the long straps on the pack allow me to place it wherever I need it on my body and keep it in place. The pack itself is slim and not bulky. The pack stays cold for at least 30 minutes, which is plenty long enough to bring relief. My surgeon said to keep ice on for 20 minutes at a time. I would say my favorite thing about this item is that the ice pack goes around the entire knee, so I don’t have to keep repositioning it. I would definitely purchase this item again and highly recommend it!!

I should have read the reviews and not just looked at the sales pitch images. After TKR and then a manipulation under anesthesia, I am very swollen. I stuffed a thinner regular gel pack underneath the strap to cover the gap and I’ve got the whole knee iced rather than trying to turn it after ten mins. Otherwise It works well, is VERY a cold and the cover is great for protecting your skin from extreme cold. Note: the velcro on the straps is the strongest I’ve ever seen. You could prob tether an elephant with it. It makes it cumbersome to undo but you could probably walk around with it without it coming off — I haven’t tried that, just received it yesterday.

Ioved that it is so large covers my whole kneecap and all around my leg! The 2 nice strips of velcro are wide and long for any size person! The 2 sided case is nice one side is padded and not as cold for neck or sensitive areas the other is see through mesh good to switch to once it's not as cold or to use on areas you want really cold! You also dont have to put a towel or pillowcase around it the padded side wont sweat on your chair or ruion leather furniture! I love this ice pack and highly recommend it and their other ice packs!

My first impression of this item was it was exactly what I was looking for. It's large and covers the knee area from side to side and front to back. Nicely designed so that the gel pack fits inside a netlike outer sleeve. I loved it for the first couple of weeks for a recent knee injury. Unfortunately, the Velcro tabs that are used to secure the straps that wrap around to hold it in place hold very tightly and are not sewn on tightly enough. One of them has come loose, making it more difficult to use.

After comparing a bunch of knee wraps, I decided to purchased this one to help ease the swelling from being non-weight bearing for 8 weeks, post-surgery. It provides instant relief without all the bulk that some of the other ones have. It's large size wraps completely and comfortably around my knee and it stays cold for a really long time. The pouch that the pad fits in is made nicely so that it can be used for other parts of the body as well. One really cool feature is that the wrap can be used for hot therapy as well. My son heated the pad and took it with him hunting this weekend and he said that it kept him warm for several hours. I love finding a product that is both versatile and functional!

I really like this knee gel pack! It is well made. The straps are long and wide and allow you to add some compression in addition to the hot/cold therapy. The gel pack could be a bit longer as it only wraps around 80% of the knee. It comes with a sleeve that you can use to help buffer your skin should you choose. I’ve tried some of the other gel pack products for the knee but many are too small or thin to provide adequate coverage or temperature. Many of them are simply vinyl or plastic packs with straps that get stiff & uncomfortable when chilled

Had it for 2 years now. Excellent but the gel is coming out on 1 seam
