If you are going away is it honestly easy to pull?

Yes it’s easy to pull. However it’s a little awkward to go up stairs with it, as well as to pick it up to put into the car. Also, one of my buckled broke the first day of using it.

Are the extendable trays sturdy or do they sag when filled?

Over time, they do start to sag and you will need to straighten them to get the thing to close properly.
