High-class board game
Crazy, complicated, fun board game. One of those that, while my buddy was reading the instructions, I had to grab a cup of coffee…It’s a bit like a combo of risk and Catan. I highly recommend it. A little expensive, it has very nice art and game-pieces.

My Favorite Board Game
I love this boardgame--it is definitely my favorite one I have ever played. I feel that it is excellently designed, and is beautiful even to look at. If the rules were garbage I'd still buy it just as an art piece, but it plays so well. I always come away from it whether I win or lose feeling like I just fought in a really challenging battle.

Fantastic Game
My husband and I love this game. It’s a little complicated to learn, and depending on the number of players can take a while, but it is absolutely STUNNING to look at and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I’ve also never seen it for just $60. Highly recommend.

Sure to be a classic.
Really fun, replay value is high. So many different strategies. The game pieces are quality, and artwork is magnificent. The creators of the game clearly put heart into making it.

Fun
Super fun. The cards are more important to collect than you think. I'd have to play it some more to give a more accurate rating.

There are several top ranked area control games, including Blood Rage, Kemet, Root and Cyclades. But Inis provides a unique experience combining clever action selection with draft and area control on a modular board! The box has beautiful board pieces and cards with great art. It looks quite odd at first. I doubted about the art of cards. But in reality you quickly get used to it, and it doesn't matter in the actual play. The game also has small miniatures of different player colors. They look like ordinary plastic toy soldiers. The miniatures cannot be compared to Blood Rage or Kemet, but it doesn't matter at all. Thanks to designers to include the minis instead of cardboard tiles or cubes. If someone is up to great-looking minitures, he will buy other games that are in great choice (and bigger price as well). The gameplay is surprisingly deep. This is one of the games, which have simple rules but requires many plays to grasp the real strategy. I like that. If you want a simpler game, take Kemet. The actual gameplay reminds a combination of 7 wonders and chess. The available actions are drafted in the beginning of every round, and their results are immediately visible at the common board. I recommend this for all eurogamers who would like to get an area control game. If you played Small world or Kemet before, consider this game for a deeper strategy.
