Exactly What I Needed
The MFP 3/8” filter was installed without any issues, and the magnet effectively captures metal particles. The build quality is good, with a durable housing. I use it for the power steering and transmission systems — the fluid has become cleaner and the operation smoother. A good and useful component for additional system protection. Highly recommended.

Nice Filter!
Very well made of all metal construction and machine welds. I tapped the outlet/discharge connection on a white surface just to see if I would get any production debris inside which turned out there was nothing! It is magnetic. I put it near a compass and it made the compass responded very well to its magnetism. My 3/8" power steering return line hose fit snug enough to ensure a good seal with the clamps. I feel confident that this is a really good filter and I would buy it again.

Great Filter for Power Steering
Just put a new power steering pump on an older car and I wanted to protect the new pump. This filter does exactly that. Seems very well made.

This is a perfect addition to a truck getting a steering gear service. Installing this filter in the fluid return line can help prevent debris from destroying system components over time. Installing one of these is cheap insurance and a good idea.

In line dual filtration filters.
Easy to install and gives peace of mind on filtration for transmission fluid. As the 6 speed transmissions in the newer Chevy Sedans are sealed and have no internal filter. All you can do with them is drain and refill at service time. These are simple installation and gives you the filtration lacking from the factory. As stated earlier, peace of mind with these installed.

High quality
Used to use the plastic ones every once in awhile the ends would break off when replacing and you'd have to dig it out of the hose. I appreciate this one much better. Seems to be a good high quality we'll be using from now on. Looks like the flow rate might be a little bit better out of these too. Because the metal can be made thinner than plastic can be.
