VERY thick and durable!
Had to get a new computer due to a fake survey virus. Wanted to use my existing display-port monitor with the new computer. This display-port connector is VERY thick, durable, and looks like a tank could run over it with no damage! 10-foot length. Black. Plug-and-play.

Works perfectly
I have a Lenovo Tiny which was inside the back of the monitor and one day it just wouldn't work that way anymore. So I bought this to test to see if it was the port on the machine or if the monitor was the issue. Turns out this worked perfectly and I just have the machine sitting outside the monitor for now. So far, it has done exactly what I hoped. I have actually purchased 15 more of them at work as we transition out of Tiny machines but still wanted to use the Lenovo Monitors which only have DisplyPort connections. Working well.

No DP cable detected error
I found out after some head scratching that the rubber shielding on the metal DP connector had to be trimmed back about 1/8" to allow it to completely seat itself and make the proper connection on some (Dell) displays and video connectors. It was odd that the cable worked on some and not others? When it seats correctly there is a slight click. Otherwise they have very robust shielding and worked fine otherwise.
