Great fountain basin, especially for the price!
This water fountain basin worked perfectly! It is a terrific size and has openings for your pump, wiring, etc. Instructions and assembly were very easy and it ultimately looks excellent. This was a "cheaper" option and really did work well!

The only affordable and useful fountain box
The media could not be loaded. The only affordable fountain box on Amazon. Works well too. For a 3 foot pot, get a an approx 150gph pump. For the pipe I used half inch pex and used a heat gun to make it soft so that the adapter that came with the pump would slide into the pipe permanently. The I used epoxy to water seal the pipe from the pump into the hole on the bottom of the pot.

You cannot beat this for the price, but mine was flawed
This would have gotten five stars had it not been for the fact that one side of the two-piece top part was warped out of shape and won't channel fountain water back into the reservoir. In my photos, you can see the side that fits like it's supposed to and the other side that is warped. I've put a clamp on the warped side, which makes it lie flat like it's supposed to, and I'm hoping that keeping it clamped for a few days will fix it enough that I can then put rocks on it to make it be like it's supposed to be. But you cannot beat this product for the price. So many other fountain reservoirs cost many times what this one does. If you want to have a little backyard fountain, this is a good product to try. If you then get nuts and want something more grandiose, then something more expensive may be more to your liking. I personally would not pay several hundred dollars for a fountain base!

Exactly what I needed!
The media could not be loaded. This product works great for whatever sort of small water feature you’re putting in. I used leftover, found and recycled stuff from around my yard — old pieces of flagstone, a big chunk of cement — and I love the way it turned out. I got my electric pump on Amazon, too, and it’s excellent. The hardest thing about this project is digging a giant hole in the ground. Once you’ve got it, have fun!

Fair product
I purchased this as a supply tank for a 5 foot fountain. It was not placed underneath the fountain as it will not hold much weight to begin with. It works well as a side tank, but after burying the box to ground level, the top is too flimsy and sticks out too far beyond the rim. If your pump is loud, placing the top on it will cause the vibration to increase louder than I like. I used a rubber pad at the bottom to reduce the hum of the pump. This is better used for a base of a small waterfall fountain

The media could not be loaded. The cover is larger than the base. Make sure you check the dimensions before purchasing.

perfect fit
The media could not be loaded. i’m not digging mine into the ground, but using in the dining room where i’ll surround it with bricks and tile to match a much larger one i’ve had in the living room for over 20 years. my base is a bit topheavy so i solidfied the tray with bricks underneath and a 14.5”x20” baking rack on top! works perfectly.
