What is the best battery to use with these?

I use 2 AAA batteries, works great for a long time

Is the prop strong enough to blow out a candle from 5-6 inches?

These are very good motors and props designed to fly drones or model airplanes. So it has enough thrust, i.e. air blown back in simple terms. Though I have not done this experiment of blowing candles, I am speculating that it would.
