Chicago Metallic 26121 Professional 12-Cup Non-Stick Mini-Popover Pan, 16-Inch-by-10.75-Inch

I grew up in Vermont where popovers were a very common breakfast item, and I have so many happy memories of my grandmother making them. I decided it was finally time to try making them myself, so I purchased this pan. It worked perfectly. The cups are a great size and the pan feels sturdy and well made. My popovers baked evenly and came out light and fluffy with that classic rise you want. Cleanup was also easy, which is always a bonus. This pan helped me recreate a nostalgic favorite at home, and I’m so glad I bought it. If you love homemade popovers, this is a great pan to have in your kitchen.

I had an old Chicago metallics pop over pan that actually rusted (after 20+ years). Just got this one and made my pop overs today. Perfection! They are much safer now without the PFAS and PTFE chemical coatings. The silicone coated steel/aluminum metal releases easily and is oven safe up to 450F. My pan does not have sharp edges, as others have complained. The pan is sturdy, substantial and easy to use. I hand-wash, which is recommended. It's very easy to clean. The pop overs literally fell right out when done baking! Very non-stick! I recommend!

This is a great popover pan! We make these delectable delights fairly often, and our old pans were looking pretty terrible. I like this pan because it makes popovers that are a little smaller than our previous pan. If you have never made these, give it a try! Here are a couple of tips for perfect, puffy popovers every time... the eggs and milk need to be room temperature before you make the batter. If you don't have time to set them out way ahead, you can pour your milk into a glass and then fill your sink with hot tap water. Set the glass of milk and your eggs in the water bath in the sink for about 15 minutes. Use glass for the milk, because it is a good heat conductor. This will bring them up to a good temperature to ensure a good rise. You also need to make sure that you grease the pans well. This helps the egg mixture rise up the inside of the pan and also aids in releasing them from the pan after they are baked. Bon appetit!

I would say that this is a good product. My only issue is that it doesn’t fit into my sink and I cant seem to get it clean. Every time I do clean it, it still feels slippery. This is a should order product.
