Sharp and well made sickle
The sickle design is perhaps the most efficient method at trimming or pruning plants. The curved blade and pulling motion allow the almost effortless cutting action.The machete is sometimes overkill in cutting power and effort when it comes to green branches and the sharpness of the machete may not be enough for clean cuts.Clippers will do the job at trimming green branches but the motion of gripping and regripping can grow tiresome after hours of work.A very sharp sickle will cut with a slight flick of the wrist and the lightweight sickle is very efficient.The sickle arrives very sharp and is ready to cut. The handle and blade are of good quality and the blade is sharpened with a chisel grind, meaning only one side is sharpened. Clean and oil the blade after use to prevent corrosion.I'm very glad that I bought this sickle.

Agave slayer
This thing is the perfect too to trim agave. Cuts like butter. As everyone who owns a agave knows they’re full of stickers. This tool helps you stay away from getting constantly poked.

My husband likes it!
I ordered this for my husband for our huge ornamental grasses, but honestly reading the review about the ER and stitches really has me scared. I planned to return it, but my husband wants to keep it. He sauys the tool is very well balanced in the hand and it has a better and softer grip. But it IS extremely sharp. Just what he wanted ---but I agreed not to return it "IF" he builds a wooden case to store it in. Honestly, one wrong wack and this could take off your fingers!

I use a round diamond sharpening rod after using it to keep sharp then oil it.
Very sharp and does a good job cutting small branches with little effort.

Cuts great - Handle slips
Everything about this product is great other than the handle slipping as you use it. Very sharp durable edge. Handle is comfortable but you have to constantly slip it back up into place.
