This thing is legit
After trying cheaper options that were literally useless as they couldn’t play back midi data in time, i tried this & it works flawlessly. There is latency obviously but it’s extremely low and constant so you can adjust the rest of your hardware accordingly.

My MIDI cables, they are gone!
Does it work? YES! Is it easy to set up? (on macOS) YES! Is there noticeable latency? ONLY A VERY TINY AMOUNT! (not enough to bother me, and I'm very picky) Does it come with TRS/DIN cables? NOPE! You'll have to buy your own. Somehow this plus the TRS cables still worked out cheaper than the CME MIDI Master device, which is less versatile. Highly recommended!

Perfect with pretty much no lag
I use this with a keyboard with a WIDI master, and also AUM. Pretty much no lag.

It works
I like this connects a multi effects to midi to use smart phone software; impossible to do with cables. Drops out occasionally but so far not when data transfer is under way.

Indespendinle midi modernisation dongle
Makes my older synths that bit better, also built one into an old midi controller keyboard to make it wireless.

Excellent device and support
Bought it to connect the Headrush MX5 which can feed the its power directly from the midi cables, no need extra usb cable. Customer Support is superb !

Not even close!
Despite following the convoluted installation process correctly (and that after a LOT of Googling) this thing doesn't work as promised. It is SLOW and flakey and just doesn't make a stable connection. Hugely disappointing and thus returned, tout de suite.

Widi jack makes a midi controller work wirelessly
I bought this to work with a Morningstar midi controller which has 3.5mm midi in/out jack sockets. It turns this great controller into a wireless one. Obviously the bit of kit at the receiving end needs midi and wireless capability. If it only has sockets you will need a Uhost or Widimaster from CME to make it work. The 2.5 to 3.5mm TRS cables had to be bought separately to connect the Widi Jack so one star off for that but it does work flawlessly.
