MagLite S3D396 3 Cell D Flashlight Dark Green, Adjustable, Battery Powered

Maglite is one of the most known names in the flashlight business for a reason. Their products are second to none. Great craftsmanship with quality materials. This flashlight is no exception. I take it on my nightly walks with my dog. My neighborhood is not very well lit and this bad boy lights my way with ease. I also love that it is sturdy and heavy just in case I need to utilize it as something other than a flashlight. I always feel safe with this maglite in my hand.

Purchased for my 2006 Toyota Sequoia SUV. I needed something to keep in my trunk at all times. My last Maglite went 28 years before it was stolen out of my car. Sure they aren’t the brightest flashlights but you can upgrade them to LED and there is lots of accessories available for the MagLite. You get what you pay for. This is durable high quality flashlight. A little pricey but when you buy a flashlight you want dependability.

Clam shell packaging was a bit shelf worn as the seller described. The flashlight appeared to be in new condition. When package was received, I noticed that something was loose and moving around as it should not have been. Expecting to see some damage to Flashlight, after I removed from clam shell, I could not see any apparent damage yet the distinct sound of something was loose persisted. After opening the tail cap to install batteries I noticed the battery spring was not where it was supposed to be. Then out slides the spring from the battery chamber, put it back on the cap, inserted batteries and was good to go. "Condition: Used - Like New - Still factory Sealed. Never opened, never used. Listing as "like new" because of shelf wear on manufacturer's original packaging from storage/shipping. Everything inside will be 100% complete, 100% untouched, and 100% pristine. You will not be disappointed, but rather delighted."

The color sold me. It's not as bright as an LED but I bought two and the LED conversion bulbs and still came out cheaper than two lights with the LEDs.

I’ve always been a fan of Mag flashlights. DO NOT buy this!!!! It’s a piece of junk. Batteries ran out before the first time I could use it. I went to replace the batteries and they would not come out of the flashlight. Had to hit the side of the flashlight lightly to try and get the batteries to come out and the side of the flashlight where the batteries come out dented so badly, that they literally couldn’t come out past he now folded in side of the flashlight. Mag lights usually have though exteriors. This one felt like it was made from aluminum foil. HUGE waste of money!!

Not the best light, not even super practical. It is however very satisfying to use and does the job while giving one a sense of security.

These flashlights are for hard use. Made in Ontario CA. for many years now. I’ve had a number of 2,3 and 5 cell Mag lites through the years as well as the 2AA small hip holster lights. Not one has ever let me down for the exception of one that was totally my own fault. I left batteries in a unit I had stored in my garage and after years of no use I found the batteries had bulged and corroded the entire unit. No fault of Mag Lite, totally user error on my part. Love these lamps as a 40 year truck driver I could always count on my Mag lite.
