Q: Can I use to put holes in dish towel

I would say no. You will need to poke the hole with something stronger, as I’m sure this needle would break unless the weave of the fabric is very loose.

Q: are these bendable? i want to weave wire in and out of a grapevine wreath.

They are slightly bendable but since they are made of plastic, they will break if bent too far.

Q: What kind of plastic? PVC?

Yes, I think so…the plastic is not good, and they are huge needles. They are still in the package, and I don’t plan on ever using them. Not worth the money, in my estimination.

Q: Would these be good for making food necklaces with children? Like, would they easily poke holes through marshmallows and such?

I think it would be too messy and difficult to string the marshmallows with needles/eye this large. It would most likely end up a gooey mess on the needles.

The needles are way to thick and causes holes

Bigger needle is handy

I started working with a blanket weight size 6 yarn. I didn’t have any needles big enough to handle this gauge. I can report the work great for that gauge!
