You need to file the top of the gel polish, then use 100% pure acetone. Either by using small pieces of cotton balls or whatever you prefer to soak your nails with filed top gel polish. After gel polish is almost melting like, use a tool or your nails to scrape off [not with a blade] the melting gel polish. You should watch a YouTube video on how to take off gel nail polish, what I'm trying to explain will make more sense.
