Oh, how I love this jabbering animated Jack-o’-lantern! It cracks me up every time. The face is actually a projection from inside the pumpkin, so when it’s turned off, it just looks like a regular plastic pumpkin. But when it lights up—it comes to life! It has multiple modes: it can sing or talk, and you can even switch between different characters. My grandkids were completely obsessed with it. Their parents… not so much (they might have heard it a few too many times 😄). I actually bought two—an orange one for my daughter and a black one for myself. The black version seems to have a slightly brighter projection, but otherwise, they’re identical. The build quality is great—it’s been through a lot of button pressing and still works perfectly. It feels sturdy and well-made, and I expect it to last us many more Halloweens. If you’re looking to add something funny, interactive, and kid-approved (maybe too approved) to your Halloween decorations, I highly recommend this one. Definitely worth the money.

Wow !

Great size! And I’m not sure what others mean when they say he’s not bright enough. Maybe if using batteries. But I plugged him in and he looks great. In the light, the animation is still very clear and of course looks better in the dark. It can also get very loud!

It's a singing and talking pumpkin, he awesome! It has 45 minute video loop of talking, making faces and singing. Yes the day it came I watched the entire 45. There's plenty of YouTube videos that you can watch so let's talk about what I think could be better... There's not much so this will be quick. The brightness of the projector. Our trick or treating this year was from 5pm - 7pm so it wasn't exactly dark out. While he was still visible his face just wasn't as bright as I'd hopped for. It also didn't come with plug, not a big deal since I've always used Android phones. He takes the USB-B type phone charger which I have a million flowing around unused since everything went to USB-C. I doubt they added the function in but it would be pretty sick if it was possible to update the video and or change it, either with something they release or better yet the ability to make your own but that's really pushing limits on a $60 toy. All in all he was a hit for sure and would make a great addition to anyone's Halloween decorations!
