A Short Introduction to Psychiatry (Short Introductions to the Therapy Professions)

The author and I are at cross-purposes. She set out to rite a guide for those considering psychiatry as a career. If I'd been in that situation I think she would have convinced me not to bother. As a general reader, I was looking for an overview of how a psychiatrist would approach various patients. Partly there, but not in the depth I'd looked for. So, a mismatch of expectations.
