Perfect for putting in my bag to write down quick notes or lists. I like the color as well. The pen is alright but I ordered different ones that have a more comfortable grip. Also not sure if the top part of the memo pads should be ripped off?? It wasnt perforated or anything but I guess I will update if it falls apart. Just wish it had an elastic band to keep it closed so it doesnt open in my bag or something. Overall tho for the price it is a good buy!

I've carried this notebook in my front pocket 5 days a week, for 2.5 years, and take it out to write or review notes several times a day. It holds my Parker Jotter (rollerball), and a few business cards (6 at the moment), along with the notepad. The corners are showing a little wear after all that use, but not enough to even think about replacing it. I tried a bunch of other options before finding this one, and it's awesome. It fits in my pocket with my phone, and I often have to check to be sure I have it, because it fits so nicely. Plenty of replacement options are available for the notepad, and the pen holder fits any pen I could find around the house. Some, like a disposable Bic Round Stic are a little loose in the holder. Overall, I love it. I'm writing the review, because I felt compelled to see if this thing is still available, in case I ever need to replace it. I'm debating just ordering one or two more, and throwing them in the desk for future use, now that I am reminded how inexpensive they are. Toss the pen, use the notepads, but experiment with others, and just appreciate how handy this thing is,

This notepad holder set is cheap in the kind of ways that make it a bad buy for it's intended use. The pen is a twist open/close with a useless fat screen nib on the back/top. It makes it slow to grab and use since the twist is tight and takes two hands to operate. It should have been a click button on the top to make the pen use one handed and quicker. The included notepads aren't truly tear-away - the binding glue is just ripped every time you rip off a page, which is going to pull on and weaken or destroy the pad binding quickly. The outer pocket holder is ok; it fits 2 standard credit cards as expected. However, it's made of a pleather which is too slippery and will show scratches/abrasions very easily; both features aren't ideal for this use. A more matte, textured pleather would have been better for grip and long term appearance/durability. At this price point, I don't expect premium materials or 'buy it for life' quality. However there are too many annoyances and issues to make it worth even it's low price point if you plan to use it regularly.
