Preparing for the power outages this winter in the UK (National Grid have warned).These lanterns took a few weeks to arrive from Amazon EU but they are worth the wait.I know you can get cheaper models from Amazon but these looked a bit sturdier and have a few nice extra features too.They are solidly built and come with all the batteries you need to get started.They pull apart to reveal the inner light. Probably about the size of a standard drinks can when shut (maybe a bit thicker). The end unscrews to reveal the battery compartment.They have two side handles that flip up to allow it to be carried like a traditional lantern, and also a handle on the side which lets you use the extra "directional" end light as a torch to be carried in the normal way.A button on the side can switch the 4 modes between steady light (lantern), end "directional" light (torch), flashing red emergency lights, and a steady red light for night time use.The end is also strongly magnetic which allows you to stick it to metal surfaces.There is also a hook which can be unfolded at one end to allow you to hang it up!Seriously, these guys have thought of everything.It takes 3 x AA batteries and gives off a really bright white light.These are a good buy. Yes they are a bit more expensive than the run of the mill Chinese models but I feel that the extra features are worth it and they feel sturdy and well made.Recommended for general power cut use, camping, and to prepare for the upcoming national grid power outages.Pack of 4 means you can put a couple upstairs or in other rooms too.Pleased with this purchase.

Very good value 4 in 1 functions. Pull up the device it becomes a lantern with 2 pull up metal handles. Turn the lantern on its side & pull up a metal & press the button at the top you have a torch. Two red rings on the top of the lantern press once a red night light & press again flashing SOS red light. 4 magnets on the base so multiple was to hang or to hold. The light omitted from 1 light is very bright

Every Ready seem to have thought of everything when designing this lamp. It's light, portable, easy to operate, and the beams are strong. There is a top flashing red light for emergency use, operated by a switch on the side which also operates the on/off torch beam. When the body is extended, the lamp operates, making it look like a miners lamp, which means it can be hand held, or hung anywhere.Overall, a very well made and attractively priced product.

Good quality as you would expect from ever ready an old and established brand, bought these for the winter because the power goes as soon as the wind blows, 4 pack came with batteries so that's a plus. Also expecting long life on the batteries as they are only powering LED's. Time will tell how they hold up but I'm pretty confident they will do the job, also double up as a torch, and versatile, as plenty of built in hooks, top and bottom and also magnets set in the base.

Fabulous during power cuts or energy saving events. Light is bright. Lightweight and easy to store.

Brought this for my parents as they had no flashlight when they had a 10 hour power cut a few weeks ago.The really good thing for them is it can be turned into a lantern that is really easy to stand on any flat surface and it will not roll away. It does have magnets in the base so it can be stuck to a metal surface.It also comes with a set of batteries although I did buy a pack of AA batteries. It can be used like a normal torch as well.All in all really pleased with this item

Very impressed with this product getting ready for possible power cuts this winter lantern very bright ideal for dark areas, built in torch OK and the red flashing gets you noticed.

A bit smaller than I expected but they are very good quality that provide a very bright light. Delivered on time. Very pleased with our purchase.

Como faroles de emergencia para apagones van muy bien, fáciles de usar y tienen también una pequeña linterna direccional. Incluyen las pilas para todas.Sin embargo, hay que tener cuidado con el precio porque en este producto fluctúa muchísimo. Yo compré el set a 28€ hace un mes, ahora está en 52€, que me parece un precio demasiado elevado.

Die vielfältigen Funktionen der Lampen sowie die verschiedenen Einsatzmöglichkeiten machen sie zu Allroundtalenten.Ich halte sie für unverzichtbar im Auto für den Fall einer Panne oder eines Unfals, denn die Warnlichtfunktion ist nicht das Einzige, über das die Leuchte verfügt. Im Fall, daß Hilfe benötigt wird, kann sie ein Optisches S-O-S Signal aussenden, welches sehr weit zu sehen ist.Auch im Urlaub sind die Lampen sehr hilfreich, da man sie als Nachtlicht, bei Wanderungen als Taschenlampe oder als Laterne beim Grillabend einsetzen kann.Dank LED Technik haben die Leuchten nur einen niedrigen Stromverbrauch und halten wirklich sehr lange.Ich kann die Lampen vorbehaltlos weiterempfehlen.
