I love these. Have purchased 2 different types. I use them with buff digibees for a super portable kit since they fold down into tiny storage sizes. The light modification is similar to a larger, far more expensive soft box modifier.

I need an umbrella to carry with me to shoots where I may or may not need diffused light but can pull it out in a pinch. If I'm planning a well lit shoot, I'll bring soft boxes. This umbrella is small but it works as a shoot through or bounce diffuser. I mount it to a clamp with a Profoto speed light. It does its job but I feel like I'll have to buy another one at some point because it feels fragile and not particularly well built. Works well for the price.

I would give this one 5 stars just for being the only one as small as I wanted available, but it does tend to get stuck in certain positions. I think it's doing it's job just fine, but it's just worth mentioning.

Great ultra compact umbrella for strobist kit. I use this with my speedlites. I wish I could buy more but it’s always out of stock.
