Good power, easy assembly, fast
Great little log splitter, I had my doubts about how well it would work but it proved that it has some power. Assembly was easy enough and the motor started up on the second pull. I tried it on 16” diameter pine that was full of knots, it got through them and split through the knots. Straighter grained wood was no match, cycle time was great and kept up with handling the chunks. The motor ran great the whole time and seemed to be properly sized for the job. I strongly recommend for a homeowner that wants something small but powerful for occasional use, if you need to split more than a few cords this isn’t going to meet your needs.

It is "SuperHandy"
Went together easily. Appears quality. Engine started on first pull! I put in 2 gallons of hydraulic fluid and it barely reached the bottom of the dipstick. So far so good - I haven't used it a lot yet, split enough wood to fill up a small wood rack and worked perfectly. I have a small fireplace in a small house, so didn't need a big wood splitter, and this one was perfect. Wheels around the garage easily.

3 year update
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Be prepared. First time I did not run carburetor out of fuel when I was done using it the float stuck shut. I got lucky and did not have to take carburetor off. Second time I forgot I was not so lucky. Taking carb off is a pain! Fuel line too short to remove carb off studs. They used a 3/16 ID fuel hose over a 1/4 OD hard line on carb? I had to rip it off making it too short to put back on. Remove pull start cover cut fuel line install Quickun plastic 3/16 OD to 1/4 OD barbed reducing union, U.S.A. sealing soft pvc 1/4 ID fuel line and SMGDA 75 piece hose spring clamps and gaskets from Flypig UPC 699990232036. I also got a all new carb LUMIX carb for 7 HP ALPHA WORKS log splitter gas engine. Worked fine no leaks. Now if needed I just unclamp and pull fuel hose bard apart outside of pull start cover. Hydraulic fluid line is next!

Great personal wood splitter
I’ve had this splitter for several weeks now and it rips through oak and other wood with ease. It’s a little hard to assemble, but pay close attention to instructions and you will be ok. There are also some videos on YouTube that will help you with assembly. It doesn’t come with the needed oils to operate it, so be ready to have about two gallons of hydraulic fluid and a small bottle of small engine oil. Pay attention to the instructions about getting air out of the hydraulic lines! It doesn’t weigh a lot so it is easy to roll around. The unit starts with one pull and runs on non ethanol gasoline or the high octane ethanol gas. The operation of the splitter is easy to understand and always use gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection. Great unit and I recommend it.

SuperHandy, Quality Yard Products and Excellent Customer service
I ordered the SuperHandy Utility Cart and the Super Handy 20 ton gas powered log splitter and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The cart and log splitter are well built and the directions for assembly are clear and simple! There was a part missing for the cart however I contacted SuperHandy and their customer service rep called me within 24 hours and said SuperHandy would send me the missing part. Great customer service and quality products! I will buy from Super handy again!

Dynamite Machine!
This machine is incredible! Splits logs much larger than the rest allows. My neighbors asked if they could borrow it. They went wild on such a small machine that works 3 times its weight . Won’t be disappointed for sure.

Excellent for the price
I bought this splitter on amazon in Nov '22 and expected to only use it occasionally. Mother nature had different plans and we were hit with tornado winds in '22, '23, and '24 and had dozens of trees down all year round. I have used this splitter now for 3 years and split well over a thousand rounds. There has not been a single log it could not split, so i view 20 tons as more than adequate for most homeowner use. It starts on first pull every time, and it's easy to use. It is too low and it doesn't cycle very fast, but this is probably the best splitter for the price on the market. It's not a high end semi-pro unit, but it's darn good for it's price.

SuperHandy 20 ton wood splitter. Product no good.
I don't like anything about this product except the engine started easily. After putting this thing together, which took several hours and necessitated a trip to the hardware store for a 55 cent nut, which wasn't included in the bag of fasteners, the machine would not function properly. After filling the engine with motor oil and filling the hydraulic reservoir with 40 dollars worth of hydraulic fluid, the ram would not advance or retract properly. The clear low-pressure suction/supply hose from the reservoir was filled with air bubbles and after a short time began to accumulate metallic debris. Apparently, contamination from metallic cuttings and/or welding slag clogged the filter screen at the outlet of the reservoir, starving the hydraulic pump of fluid. I have contacted Amazon and was told to contact Great Circle because it's a "3rd party" deal, and to wait 48 hrs for them to reply. I did contact Great Circle and was instructed to take photos and videos of the problem and email them, which I did. I am waiting for a reply but it's Friday and won't hear anything till next week. I opted for the 3yr Asurion extended warranty offered by Amazon for $95 because several of the reviews of this product were critical. I offer another critical review. Fit and finish were questionable notwithstanding the fact the thing doesn't even work. Holes didn't line up well, one had to be drilled out and of course the missing fastener. This makes "made in China" an old cautionary refrain. I will try to follow up when I hear from Great Circle and Amazon. In the meantime, I'm not splitting wood and it's September 24th!
