This is it. This is what you need for a pour over. No wonder so many coffee shops use them. This is the perfect size to make two cups of coffee by they way. Might seem sort of small looking, but it's really all you need for one or two cups of coffee. Definitely recommend. Great product.

Just got the 700ml one. Love it. It works really well, seems well built too. Only two things: (1) I think I regret not getting the 1L one, just to have more capacity in case I want to brew for more people than myself. The other thing, is that (2) although the photos in the reviews show a MADE IN JAPAN engraving at the bottom of the kettle, mine doesn't have that. I wonder if the product is ACTUALLY made in Japan as the description in Amazon says... I couldn't find a reference to where it was made in the box or the info that came along. That's why I give it 4 stars instead of 5.

newbie friendly As a novice, it is highly recommended, one person and two servings

Manufacturer's instructions say it can rust; the stainless steel is less quality grade on the bottom plate. Otherwise, it is just what I wanted, size, design, avoiding a themometer. But at this price of $42.+, it should be entirely a higher grade of stainless steel and more rust resistent.

Quality product. Smooth pour. Learning to do pour over coffees. Product lives up to hype. Please note you have to pay attention to when water is boiling. It does not whistle and water will flow out of nozzle.
