As a kid I always loved putting together Lego kits and this kit reminded me of that. What I love about this kit is that you can tell somebody put a lot of work into developing it. It has so many examples and project code on the wiki page. And from these and all the parts and pieces which came with it, can be expanded on to build your own projects. For more details read below. I really like how this kit is shipped and packaged. It comes in a normal amazon envelope, which I preferred because I don’t like everyone knowing what I ordered. Inside is a nicely wrapped package with a shrink wrapped box which is exactly what you see on the Amazon page. UNBOXING: Inside the box is a really beautiful kit with everything in small organized boxes. It even comes with a screwdriver and nut wrench! The assembly instructions are printed beautifully and on the back include a QR code for the build instructions. Each bag in the accessories box is labeled for easy reference. THE KIT: There are two references which you can use to assemble your kit. 1. The instruction manual that comes with the kit 2. The wiki page (wiki.keyestudio) I recommend using the wiki page because you can view larger versions of the pictures, and you can copy and paste the code straight from the wiki page to your Arduino IDE. I really enjoyed the wiki page because if this is your first time trying to use the Arduino IDE, it also has a guide at the end that walks you through the steps of Installing Arduino IDE and Setting up your REV4 board. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. If you have trouble with 1) Installing Driver, you can skip to 2) Steps 3 and 4 and simply go to your Device Manager and Ports and see which new port pops up (Mine was COMM11) when you connect the Arduino Board. Then open the Arduino IDE and go to Tools. Make sure to select Arduino Uno under boards and under Port select the port that you just found in the previous step. 2. Before you can test the servos to set their orientation you must install the servo library. The wiki page walks you through this process in PROJECT 3: JoyStick Controlled Robot Arm.

I recommend taking a couple days to build this one. You'll need to do some code tests during assembly, so no rush. But it's pretty cool assembly a robo arm :) I thought this was a fun project for all ages.
