Coaster Metal Base Snack Table, Brown and Black

Had some issues. The first one arrived with one of the metal parts visibly defective in a way that prevented assembly (something that should have been easily noticed). I contacted customer service with photos/diagrams and very specific details about which part had the defect because I assumed it would be easy to accidentally send the wrong side (the mirror image of the piece I needed) The customer service rep was very pleasant and eager to help, but when the replacement part arrived, it was in fact the wrong side. Again, the customer service rep was quick, apologetic, and eager to help (definitely much better customer service than you may expect for discount furniture!) I got the right part the second time.After assembling the table (pretty easy) it was obvious that some of the metal components were a little warped in various directions. At first I was annoyed, but then I realized there was adjustable feet of sorts on the bottom corners to make the table sit "level"....which is kind of funny because it led me to think they know the parts are going to be made on the cheap and the adjustable feet are there to make up for the inevitably warped components. The wood top also sits a little to one side on mine.Over all, the table is fine and I use it every day. After about 2 months, it seems like the surface of the wood isn't going to wear terribly well, but it still does the job. But definitely not a "great deal"- It's just a table with a low price because it's cheaply made. So as long as your expectations are on point, it works/looks fine and is actually pretty darn handy.

The media could not be loaded.  Main concerns:- Product is not as pictured. The wood is not distressed, at all- One of the tables wobbles- Not a lot of thigh room when the table is pulled up to your lap, and I am pretty thinI uploaded a photo of my actual product, and also make a short video showing the wooden top. I ordered two of these tables. They were put together easily; my husband had both put together within 20 minutes. However, I specifically ordered these tables because they were supposed to be 'distressed,' as implied not only in the product title, but also in the picture. The wood top for both tables is perfectly smooth, perfect edges, not a single sign of distress to be found. I realize this might be ideal for some, but that is not what I ordered. My husband didn't want to take them apart again and ship back, so we are keeping them. But I will continue to look for something better, as this does not fit in with my decor.Also, one table is pretty wobbly. We also put felt pads on the bottom of the 'feet' of both tables. The included feet are plastic/hard rubber, which slide fine, but I was worried about scratching our hard wood floors. With the felt, they glide smoothly from one spot to another.Basically, the tables serve the purpose for which they were purchases - but I am very disappointed in the misleading photos and title.

The table itself is sleek looking and very functional. I have a long, "L" shaped couch in my living room so it keeps me from having to balance my drinks on my ottoman.One structural flaw is that the screws for a lateral support bar are smaller than the holes that they have drilled. The threads of the screws simply cannot grab onto anything so you can wiggle the screw and get it to slide right out. Customer service was not informed or very supportive. They did send me another support bar that, just like the previous one, had holes that were larger than the screws that they sent with it. I figured they could have at least tested my issue before sending me another poorly designed piece. However, this really is just a minor issue since the structure of the rest of the table has been stable enough to hold everything that I have put on it.The worst issue I have with the company is that I ordered two tables and only received one. Each time I called to inquire about my second table I received the same story, they sent two tables taped together. Their repeated response to me telling them that I still am one table short was only, we sent two tables taped together. I raised the same complaint with my post office with no resolution. Being stationed overseas, it became increasingly difficult and expensive on my phone bill to have to call them continuously to try to resolve this issue. With each call I had to start the entire Q&A all over again as if it were the first time I've ever called on the matter. Their stance remained that if they sent two tables and only one showed up then it was my problem and not theirs. When I finally requested my money back for the second table that I never received, my connection mysteriously dropped and then they simply screened my calls for the rest of the week.The bottom line is that if you find this table for sale by another company then go ahead and buy it. It looks great and definitely fulfills its intended purpose. However, I strongly recommend not buying from this company unless you willing to risk coming up a table short in the delivery.

Addressing some points of previous reviews: 1) Yes, the table top is not "distressed oak" w/ slightly rounded corners as in the photo. It does show woodgrain, but it's not particularly pretty, and most likely veneer over a cheaper wood core. 2) Yes, the metal frame joints are not perfectly machined and therefore do not perfectly fit together, but they do go together and everything holds together w/ final tightening of bolts. 3) yes, the table is not rock-steady and won't hold a 50 lbs weight w/o tipping, but it will hold a beverage, books etc. just fine.Beyond that, it assembles easily in 10 min., the design looks better than many "competitors" , and it's worth the $ 50.-. I bought open box at 20% less, but would have not been unhappy at full price. .

Not good quality at all!!! Took forever to get to me. We needed drills and tools to put it together as it was poorly made.
