It's a zippo and it's beautiful
This is my first zippo. Unlike the butane insert, this worked instead of only being pretty.

This is a great lighter- it's a Zippo
This is a great lighter- it's a Zippo, so it always works! The finish is very distinctive, and makes it easier to hide the scratches and marks that invariably end up on a chrome lighter. Very high quality, as always, from Zippo!

I never go anywhere without this lighter!
I always keep this lighter fueled up whenever I get the chance. The herringbone texture is great to avoid smudging after a rough night out, and everyone loves the click of a Zippo!Might need a bit of adjusting (wick placement, cotton placement, flint replacement) but it's just the nature of having an old classic!

Great in wind, but dries out fast.
I loved this lighter, but quit using it because I grew tired of how often I had to refill it with fluid. I think more evaporates out than ever gets burned. I live in the Arizona desert, so this get exposed to greater heat than yours will and our very dry air speeds the drying too. I'd even tried to keep it in a ziplock bag to slow the fluid's evaporation, but that got awkward. – I like that it’ll lit during our bitterly cold 40 degree winter days when my Bic lighter won’t -- It's easy to refill the lighter, BUT we must be careful to not overfill it because the wick can be too wet to light, then gives a ball of fire when it does. Of course, it's downright embarrassing when I overfill it, I get fluid on my hand, I light it and my kids then think I'm some kind of superhero with a flaming hand. OKAY, that didn't all happen, but I get eager for a smoke, have to wait to refill the lighter (again) then wait even longer for my hand to dry off. I DON'T consider this dangerous if anyone has a lick of common sense. BUT remember the reason these faded out of common use was because of how easy they are to light by toddlers and kids. I personally inspected a burned-out home because a 3-yr-old got hold of one, lit it, dropped it when it burned his hand and the flame stayed lit. -- -- All considered, I don't use it, but keep it handy as a backup along with a can of fluid.

Can't beat a zippo.
Love zippos, as I expected it's great, good price and delivery was as promised. Bought this as a gift for coworker, no doubt he will like it and enjoy having it for many years.

Garbage
I returned the first one bc it took about twenty tries flicking it to get it to light. The second one is worse. Garbage
