I purchased this as a gift. He seems to be extremely satisfied with it says it makes coffee fast and it tastes good. It's easy to set up so that your coffee is ready the next morning. I bought one like this in the past and it lasted for quite a while before it went out. All of these go out eventually but some do last a lot longer than others. The Black & Decker seem to last quite a while last time so that's why I chose it again. It lasted over 2 years last time before I replaced it. I haven't had a leak problem with this brand, like I did with another brand. I like the way this one's designed because it takes up less space on the counter although you do have to lift the entire top to put your water and coffee grounds in it. So you need to be able to either pull it out from the spot it's setting in or have nothing above it so that you can open it freely.

I have been using this product for years. It is used daily and lasts about two years, sometimes a tick longer. Anyhow we had 27 months on our last one and the water tank began to leak. Went to Amazon, ordered a new one, price was the same as two years back and it was delivered between 5-8Pm the same day. So this morning made coffee in it with no issues. Build quality is good for the price point, Spillage does not exist unless the tank is overfilled and ease of cleaning would be that of any other coffee maker. Most certainly a good value in my book.

I like the coffee pot, works well. You can set it to turn on before you wake up which is a great feature. The size is very nice, slimmer than those I had previous and a life saver because my counter top is small. ONE GLITCH I need mention as that is why I took a star off - I brew 6 cups every morning, my spouse doesn't drink coffee, just me and my son. If you use the kraft to the 6 cup line then put it in the coffee maker you need add MORE water to get to the 6 cup line. This is not a game changer just something to be aware of when you set up your coffee. The coffee maker has a 12 cup capacity. Makes some noise in the morning but that gets my son out of bed so I'm happy with that.

Very happy with this coffee maker. We have had it for about a month and use it every day. Controls are easy to understand and use. It's fast, we usually make 8 cups and it is done in 7 minutes. It makes very hot coffee. It is a little loud but what drip coffee maker isn't?Highly recommend.

this is a great little pot doesn’t take over the kitchen counter. Makes a coffee excellent has its own little filter so you don’t have to worry about buying paper ones all in all I give this a A+ love it.

I needed to replace my Mr Coffee 5 cup coffee maker. I decided to try this 12 cup B & D. Glad I did. I've only used it twice, but the parts are well made. The coffee tastes so good. I have not tried the brew later feature or the automatic turn off yet. I recommend this coffee maker.

Great coffee maker, highly recommend this item. No leakage, keeps coffee hot for a long time and has auto shut off. Brews coffee quickly and the coffee taste is perfect.

I purchased this coffee maker on 28 January 2023, and it almost made it two years. It started leaking water from the bottom of the coffee maker, leaving a large puddle on the countertop, (13 January 2025.)This coffee maker is one of my favorites in many, many years of coffee making. The coffee it produced was H-O-T hot! (Huge 5-star rating for me!) I love a digital timer, and on this particular machine, it is super easy to set and does not loose time. If your power goes out and you have to reset the time/timer, you do not need to look for an operation manual, video on-line or ask a kid or grandkid for help. It's just, hour, minute, program (to set the timer), and auto (the time you'd like to coffee to brew). Again, a big 5-stars from me.The 2-hour warming timer is wonderful, because at 4:20 a.m., checking whether the coffee pot is on or off is not at the top of the list of things that need to be done, while scurrying out the door. I can also sneak a cup while brewing, if I'd like, without having to hurry to pour before there is a spill.Now, with this current coffee pot, I cannot make a 10-12 cup pot, because of coffee grounds floating over the filter or the paper filter folding over. I think this may be due to using a paper filter along with a screen-type reusable filter. And the leaking from the bottom... For a couple of weeks prior to the total failure of being able to hold water, there would be a small puddle when moving the pot back to its space on the counter. I have to slide the machine forward to pour the water and slide it back towards the wall, and there has been a small "trail" of water left, which I attributed to me spilling a small amount when filling the reservoir. However, when I prepared the coffee yesterday, (13 January 2025), there was a huge puddle on the countertop, about 2 cups' worth of water, just pouring out from the bottom of the pot.With all of that said, I reordered this exact same model of coffee maker again yesterday, and I highly recommend this coffee maker.
