I needed a new coffee pot that was digital, comparable to my Mr Coffee pot that finally quit after 15+ years and didn't cost an arm and a leg! This B&D fit the bill perfectly! I love the stylish look, its heavy-duty feel, that it keeps the coffee hot for 2 hours so the second cup is as hot as the first, the water level gauge on the machine and on the pot is very legible, and the price is so reasonable!

Great coffee maker for the price. It’s simple to use, brews quickly, and makes a good full pot of coffee. The programmable feature is really convenient, and the washable filter is a nice bonus. Works consistently and is perfect for everyday use. Definitely a solid choice.

It’s a good coffeemaker. Adding water is kind of clumsy and you DEFINITELY don’t want to over fill it. And buy a reusable mesh filter that you can use repeatedly. The price is very good for a sophisticated coffeemaker and it is simple to use.

My last coffee maker finally gave up the ghost and I started looking for a decent coffee maker that wouldn't break the bank. This is what I bought, based on the price and the reviews. It's a good coffee maker. That's all I really need to know. It does its job without fuss. It's programmable, so it has more features than coffee makers that are only a little cheaper. And it will make 12 cups of coffee, which is a plus if you ever have visitors who like coffee or if you drink a lot yourself. It does its job, and it does it well. I have one quibble about this coffee maker, it's the built in 2 hour shut-off, which you apparently don't have any control over (Black & Decker says it's a safety feature). I's annoying. On my weekends I tend to start coffee when I get up, but I sometimes get busy and don't get to it right away. I couldn't tell you how many times I've gone in there to get a cup of coffee only to find out that the warming plate has turned off. Now, it's simple enough just to turn it back on, and I usually get in there before the coffee has gotten too cold. But the simple truth is I would rather be able to make a full pot of coffee that could sit in there for 8 - 10 hours than something I have to babysit, or have to make a couple of cups of coffee at a time. The shut-off "safety feature" is mostly annoying because I have no control over it. I understand Black & Decker probably thought of it as a liability issue (because people love to sue corporations when they themselves have done something stupid), but it does seem like there should be a larger window in which to keep your coffee warm, or least make it something that's variable up to a point. Sure, it makes sense to have the coffee maker shut off at some point, because people can and do forget to turn them off. But whoever set it at 2 hours is clearly someone who doesn't actually drink coffee. lol. Overall, though, I'm very happy with this coffee maker. I'm sure I'll buy another one when this one gives out.

The coffee maker so easy to use and it makes a great cup of coffee. It’s the first time I can make more than I need a drink the rest of it later and it still tastes very good. It’s got the brewing of coffee down Pat.

For a cheap product, sure does a great job. I usually keep the previous coffee maker. Usually. Just in case. VEVOR Programmable Coffee Maker, is the previous coffee maker that I tossed. I will review that...shortly. *I always keep the carafes and filters. "Better to have and not need, than to need and not have." Anyway, back to the Black and Decker. So far, a great cup of coffee. No leaks. The temperature is on point. The taste is perfect. It brews the 12 cups like it says. This $35 machine is simply better than the $65 machine. I also want to point out, I am not a picky man about coffee. I want coffee. I want it in my belly. This machine is way faster than the Vevor. Thankfully this machine is also paper filter friendly. I absolutely love that. Don't necessarily like the reusable ones. But they work in a pinch. Anyway, there ya go. Good luck in your wisdomous coffeenous

Works great you can adjust the Bruce strength easy to use. I like setting the timer so my coffee is waiting for me in the morning if you clean it, it will last long. The last one I had lasted for about five years. This replaced the old one I expect to have it for a while.

First, just to be fair and clear, we purchased a used unit because of the price. We have been using it since Jan.10th and it really is not a bad coffee maker. The water temp is around 184 degrees give or take which not bad. It does take a bit of time to make a full pot, but not a deal breaker. Overall, not a bad coffee maker, however we are returning it because we noticed the coating on the warmer plate seems to be spotty where some of the coating appears to be wearing off as seen in the picture. Again, this is a used unit so maybe due to some wear and tear. Outside of that, we would recommend this B&D coffee maker.

sorry very dissappointing experience, when it was switched on we were able to see the displayes , but the hot plat was not worhing.

The hot plate keeps the coffee hot. Nice size for counter. Good brewing flavour.
