I’m updating my original review, after saying: ”I got it without reading reviews first, but this is a waste of money. I can't use it because it leaks. No worth it.”. I actually used plumber’s tape to seal the connection and the leaking was solved. I had my dehumidifier running since December no issues after the quick fix. I read previous reviews and jump to a conclusion too quickly without finding a solution.

The hose was tied together inside the plastic packaging. This resulted in about ten really flat spots in the hose that I haven't been able to open up. I will try using a hair dryer on it tomorrow to soften the plastic in order to fix it, but I don't understand why the hose won't "bounce back" to the original shape after packaging. If this doesn't work I might have to return the product.

Think this goes w/the Humidifier, and I haven’t used it yet I’d think it’s good and works I hope 🤞

hose arrived creased in several areas, not a very thick hose, I paced the entire hose in the kitchen sink hoping I could unroll the hose successfully with out cracking it. this did work out. However I got things set up and all seemed fine for a few days, then I noticed the unit was leaking, water about 3 feet around unit. There was the worst rust developed from around the hose on the unit. my new dehumidifier was awful looking. I cleaned up the mess and notified amazon for a replacement. They had no issue I was the one to be inconvenienced during the holidays to find time to return the old one, rather that just get a replacement. Upon further inspection I discovered the hose did not have a washer, most would have came with a washer but not this . So my concern at this time is the rusty connector on the end of the hose to the unit, will it cont to deteriorate. I am not sure. I never imagined it did not have a washer, and yes I know the reviews said the place a washer but in the beginning who the heck reads instructions for something as simple as hooking a hose onto a unit. its so simple. I will consider a replacement but not during christmas.

This product works very well. I use in a basement with continuous drainage and it keeps the humidity level down. Prior to purchasing we were having moisture issues and concerned about mold, so this product has been a life saver! Excellent customer service as well. I will continue to purchase Waykar products.
