I picked this up for my Halloween costume, and to my surprise, it actually works! What a fun addition to my spooky outfit!.

Great for a Velma cosplay. This is a very inexpensive magnifying glass, so I was not afraid of breaking it while toting it around as Velma. And even though this is considered a “toy” magnifying glass. It is functional and does have a little bit of magnification to it. It’s super easy to use just like any other old magnifying glass just point and look.

I purchased 2 of these magnifying glasses for my kids, ages 5 & 6, and they absolutely love them. They're a great size as well. From top to bottom they are just over 9" in length with the glass itself being 5" of that length. The body of the magnifying glass is a lightweight hollow plastic so it's large size doesn't make it too heavy for little ones. The magnifying glass actually works (I wasn't sure it was going to since it was listed as a toy) and it seems pretty sturdy since my kids haven't been able to crack or break it. There is a decent sized gap between the glass and the plastic frame of the magnifying glass that allows for some play in the glass for whatever reason, but it hasn't allowed the glass to fall out, it just wiggles back and forth a bit. Overall, my kids are happy with it and I'm happy with it and I think it is perfect for the price.

The product is actually quite nice. My only criticism/thoughts is that it arrived kind of, I'm not entirely sure, but dirty? The lens wasn't clean and clear; it could used some tlc. But it's lightweight, the magnefication's actually really great, and I'm not displeased with my pic. I just couldn't give 5 stars since it arrived in an open bag (within a box) and it was kind of dirty. Not sure if I was sent a used one or not somehow.
