Even though the attachment to the window did not fit, the customer service team worked with me very closely to exhaust all options. I was able to send some images that helped them understand the issues I was having. They sent me a link to a piece that might fit, but when it did not, they allowed me to return the item without an issue. Their quick communication was polite, helpful and wonderful. Excellent solution to a big problem!
I was hesitant when deciding to purchase a "non-factory" solution to my very old vent for my portable (9 year old) Fridgidaire AC unit. The old vent was brittle and falling apart. To be honest, it never really worked very well. This vent kit really saved the day. It was super easy to install. Everything came together really well, and the weather seal was a nice bonus. This will really help keep the apartment so much cooler without that hot air escaping into the room. Thanks so much for this affordable and amazingly easy solution. 10 stars!

Fyi Listing has wrong window opening width!
This is a quality window kit for your portable air conditioner. Although the listing clearly says it adjust from 17"-64" which is wrong. It can only adjust from 27"-64" and my window is 24" so I'll have to cut it to fit with my chop saw. The main piece is 17" but the adjustment pieces will start to cover the whole when you get to 27". Not the worst thing in the world but hopefully they will correct the listing.

The majority of the parts broke quickly after installing, so I would not recommend this product due to its poor durability. Additionally, the product was delivered without any of the screws necessary to install which was frustrating.

Hose is good quality. Slides although need support is exactly what I needed for my sliding door just remember to use the sealing tape
