Good at locking a box.
This lock works well. For the past 3 years every day I’ve locked and unlocked my box and have yet to have any issues. If you need a lock this works well. And came very quickly as well.

does what it says
I inherited a Kennedy toolbox but the key had been lost many years earlier. This was an easy replacement and identical to the one i removed. Now i have a locking tool box to keep people out of my expensive tools. It took less than a minute take the old lock off and put the new lock on with nothing more than a flathead screwdriver.

Exactly what was needed
Son was gifted a 30? 40? year old toolbox. The lock was broken. Look a gift house in the mouth? No way! Instead he ordered this replacement, which was an exact fit and installed in minutes. Perfect for making something old new again.

Fixed the broken lock on my Kennedy cabinet
Easy to install (5 minutes) and worked perfectly. Be sure to check to see which style lock you have on your box, as there are at least 2 different kinds.
