Have these been tested for heavy metals like lead, etc?

I really don't know, but I sure like them. Not real heavy. I got them for my husband, he is blind,and they work out pretty good. Hope this helps you.

Can it be use for warming up food in the oven???

This is made of steel, of course you can use it in the oven, just not in the microwave oven.

I handwashed them but it still looks stained, whats the best way to clean them?

This how they are. Even after washing they look stained but not bad. Just wash with soft sponge and palmolive.
