Protects me from my laptop's RF output
I spend hours each day with a laptop literally on my lap. I started noticing discomfort in my back, hip and "other" areas. I suspected it could be the RF energy being emitted by my laptop. I looked at "laptop shields and none seemed to have very good reviews, plus I am a bit suspect of just how effective those materials really are. So I bought this large forensic grade faraday laptop bag instead and put it between my laptop and me. I figured that if one layer keeps a laptop inside the bag from receiving or sending signals, then two layers between me and the laptop should block most if not all of the direct emissions that are coming out of the bottom and sides of my computer. I don't have a fancy RF meter to check emission levels under the faraday bag, but I can say that I have been using this under my laptop for several weeks now and I haven't experienced any more discomfort. So, as far as I am concerned - problem solved!

Mission Darkness Faraday Laptop Bag - Great Quality
This faraday laptop bag works exactly as advertised, the real deal. A well made great quality product. Quick sale and shipping. Most definitely recommend.

These seem great!
These look good, seem like they will protect in most any situation and give me comfort when I want my electronics locked down. I own several varieties of these and all seem equally great. I would really like one that is both fire protective, water sealed and EM blocked. I have separate pouches/bags for each and must put one inside the other to protect for both. Why not one pouch for all? Truthfully though I have no way to appropriately test these beyond trying to call a cell phone inside so don't really know how well protected my electronics are beyond the manufacturer's reputation and word. Still gonna go with 5 stars.

Wow! These work!
Bought bags for laptop, phone, and car fob. Definitely do what they say they will. Quality made. Costs a little more, but look at what you are protecting. Don't skimp. Happy knowing they limit my exposure to harmful emissions and, most important, protecting privacy.

Works fine
Seems to work. Read good reviews elsewhere. Haven’t thoroughly tested but the car bag stops the car from starting and the phone bags seem to work when properly closed.

A Black Hole... In a bag.
I purchased the small version of this bag recently and knew I needed the large version to add to my collection. The Mission Darkness Faraday Bag functions exactly as the name would imply. It's a black hole (or darkness), but not for light, for data. The Mission Darkness Faraday Bag provides protection against wireless signals including most commonly used WiFi and Bluetooth signals. This is incredibly important when you're transporting sensitive information, or if you simply don't want your private information out in the open for prying eyes. The flexible material the bag is made from make it ideal for an impromptu shielding of an electronic device at a moment's notice. If you're caught in a situation and fear that your device might be compromised, simply slipping the device into one of the Faraday Bags makes it immediately immune to attack and cuts off any further infiltration (while in the bag of course). If you're looking to protect yourself on the fly, the Mission Darkness Faraday Bag is definitely the way to go.

Item does not work
So, I don't normally write reviews; however, I am very disappointed in this product, Mission Darkness Faraday phone bags, as they appear to be defective and allow signals in and out of the bag. My key still unlocks and locks while inside the bag, as well as calls and web activity. I purchased two phone bags and a laptop bag, as I need device security for employment purposes. These are not cheap, and it's a big letdown.I tried this same process with key fob and phone in laptop Faraday bag as well with the same result of these devices still being accessible to connect to them and also able to unlock and lock car and recieve / call. Also I would like these either replaced or my money back, so I can find a reliable product.

Great product so far...
Does what it's supposed to so far as I can tell. Definitely killed the reception of my phone when I stuck it in the bag. I bought this for prep as well as security purposes in the unlikely event of EMP issues such as solar flares and whatnot. With the ever increasing reach of technology who knows WHAT people/big brother will be able to do as far as accessing your electronics via wifi, bluetooth, etc. in the years to come. I've heard your cell can be activated even when it's off if there's a signal. Let's go ahead and nip that in the bud by just blocking all transmissions lol.The bag was much larger than I gauged by the pictures. Won't even fit in my backpack without bunching, so I'd say it would definitely fit most any full-size laptop or electronic of comparable dimensions.Once again, a great product thus far :)
