These are really nice cards and high quality! I love the design. But these won't work for a poker game because the cards are not distinct enough due to the background colour and choice of contrast for the suits of the cards. If your buying them for that purpose maybe consider the lighter backed cards instead of the black ones.

This deck of card really surprised me. Im a complete beginner in cardistry and i wanted a plastic deck of cards i could throw. I expected it to be stiff and that i couldn't do much else than throw them but to my surprise, they are slick, soft, bendy and really easy to use for most tricks im learning. I did throw them as well. To my surprise again, they survived some of my hardest throws that would ruin any cardboard cards without question. With all the abuse it got, only one card broke and i suspect it hit a sharp corner because all the others took it like a champ. I will most likely buy more of these cards as backups because i really love the look, feel and durability. They are all right for playing, the cards are relatively easy to read but i do confuse the red cards and the back when i pick them up from the ground.

These cards are extremely durable and waterproof, however the writing on them will fade away and rub off after prolonged use. I've also found that you can see what the card is from the "back" because of how it was stamped. Great for learning card tricks, bad for playing poker.
