The Absolute Best NEMA 14-50R For Tesla Mobile Connector!
After watching several videos and reading dozens of reviews on seven or eight different NEMA 14-50R socket connectors I decided to take a chance on this one because the price was excellent and it could handle both Aluminum and Copper wiring (AL/Cu). I was very pleased to find that both of the hot contacts and neutral were full height and not half height like one of the other cheaper connectors. If you are attempting to maximize your charging ability for your Tesla with the included Mobile Connector, you'll need this NEMA 14-50R on a circuit with a 50 Amp Circuit Breaker. This will allow your Tesla to draw up to 32 Amps (7.6kW at 240 volts).

Heavy duty, easy to install
I installed this for my Tesla charger. I did not want to pay $100 for the “heavy duty” ones that some people were recommending but the $10 ones at local big box home improvement stores seemed extra skimpy. This one is fairly beefy. It accepted the 6 gauge wire with space left. I was able to get screws cranked down on the wires so it was very secure. They are very clearly labeled so an easy install. I’ve charged at up to 40 amps and this has been working fine.

Perfect for EV charger plug. It also has dual copper and aluminum rating. I find it to be a quality product.
