TOFURT Car Mobile Phone Holder 360 Degree Rotation Car Dashboard Cell Phone Mount Automobile Cradle Suitable for 4 to 7 Inch Smartphones

This is the strongest phone holder i have come across, always struggled with rattly or vibrating holders. Recommended as it fits in several places.

This is quite a good phone holder, however, I observed the following points that may or may not be an issue for other users - (1) The mounting spring clip is way too strong, it tends to dig in and deform the instrument cluster to which it is clamped to, my thickness is about 1 inch or 25mm and at this thickness, it dents the dashboard, (2) the length of the phone arm is a bit on the short side which restricts the distance from the clamp to the bottom of the phone, this may only be an issue if you need a length of 4 to 5 inches as I needed to see the screen above the steering wheel, (3) Getting the phone in and out of the clamp is very difficult once it is installed, there is no easy way to operate the retaining spring which is again a bit too strong. Overall I think it will work for some but probably not for many, it is sturdy and well made but I think some aspects are probably over-engineered making it not as easy to use as possible.

This pretty much achieved what it claimed; it’s a tough spring clip design that holds onto your dashboard - provided yours is not too thick, so check this before ordering.It holds my 6” phone that is in a silicone case comfortably and is pretty versatile, moving in any position you desire.The only niggle is that after a while the clip starts to lose a bit of its grip - possibly due to the tension in the spring beginning to slacken. It still stays on but sometimes you have to give it a shove back into place.Aside from that it is a worthy alternative to the more commonplace suction varieties.

The idea and the design behind it were excellent but one aspect of the build quality was very poor. The internal spring used to work the cradle and supply tension to keep the phone mounted firmly in place, it dislodged from its mounting points after four uses and the device become useless. Knowing what the problem was I accessed the casing to fix it; the casing is not designed to be opened once it has been shut during assembly so if your internal spring should dislodge the game is up. A pity because bar that flaw it would be a great little device to hand.
