Keto Pancake Mix

As close as you can get to a real pancake. Of course it is not the same and who would or could think so. Its very acceptable. I liked it and as it is very low carb it is good. What better alternative? Will buy again.

This pancake mixture is a great tasting alternative to “real” pancakes for a keto/low carb diet.The ingredient (milk/egg) quantities in my opinion are a little bit off for the milk. The recommended milk makes a thick batter making it impossible to spread out in the pan. Even adding additional milk still made thick pancakes, so didn’t get as many as the stated pancakes out of the package. I think next time, I’ll add some water to the mixture after the milk and egg to make it thinner. It does say you can add more milk on the package, but of course with a keto diet, the more milk, the more net carbs.Overall, these pancakes were great. The package was eaten over 2 sittings for 2 people. With thick pancakes following the instructions with a bit extra milk, we got 7 thick fluffy pancakes. The outside seemed to brown very quickly with the inside not cooked yet, but that would be due to the thickness of the batter. Making a thinner batter would definitely be recommended. I’ll be purchasing again.

If you want to enjoy it, you must put vanilla extract in it and dose it in maple syrup once cooked...then its alright I suppose. On its own without any maple syrup on it or without any vanilla extract in the batter...it has a weird taste. Not disgusting but not really too enjoyable. I would say just about edible. The vanilla significantly improves its taste and the maple syrup goes without saying...I could drink the stuff. Its up to you if you want to try it but I dont think I gained any weight whilst I was eating it. So it has its benefit.

Rubbish. Looks nothing like the photo on packet. Was willing to overlook the price to get something decent but these tasted horrible and they fell apart and the only way to fully cook them is to burn them! Impossible to cook, Impossible to flip, they ended up a heap of a mess and into the rubbish bin. Don't waste your money.

Great substitute. Little flavour difference, but expected that. Cooks well in a pan too.

Disappointed with this compared with other items in range. I made one batch using a third of the mix and followed the instructions. I've never made pancakes before so followed the instructions for cooking But these burnt very quickly on the outside and inside did cook but no flavour at all. Even plastered with maple syrup they didn't taste very nice. I still have 2/3rd packet left so I will try again but will add cinnamon into the batter next time to see if they are more edible. I'll not buy this variation again....the red Velvet and walnut cake mixed are great do I'll stick with them.

Lovely taste

Used this for pancakes. It was too nice, however, and I ate too many pancakes. Superb replacement for flour.
