Runs best on half choke
The motor runs well, but it needs to run on half choke. Shutting it off will result in a rough idle. Obviously I should be able to do some carburetor work to get it to run right, but not what I expected as a new motor. The other thing to not is there is a “depth sensor” of some sort. If the prop is not at the right angle and registering as it would be too deep in the water, it won’t start. Overall a decent motor for the price.
