These brushes are a good buy as long as you are not expecting a top shelf brand/performer. Its a nice set. The brushes are attractive in appearance and nicely finished, and they are well balanced in the hand. The range of sizes in the set is, at least based on my experience painting with them, close to optimal as I always seem to have a filbert that is just about the perfect size for what I am trying to render. The filaments are fairly soft, making these brushes well suited for use with watercolors and acrylics. Painting with Golden heavy body acrylics, I have found these brushes to hold paint well and lay it on the canvas smoothly and with the type of line sharpness characteristic of the filbert configuration. I have no complaints about these brushes and would buy this set again if in need of a set of filbert brushes.

These brushes are wonderful to use. Painting trees and shrubs are a breeze using these brushes. Also great for creating feathers and fur. Highly recommend.

I just love, love, love these brushes. The painting process is so smooth and when it comes to applying the paint on the canvas. It is a great deal for what will be my favorite brushes.

Work really well but clean very carefully or these brushes will not last.

I ordered this set which I thought might be pretty good quality based on previous reviews. I'm a beginner, and I'm no expert, but when these arrived I followed the directions and wet the brushes to get the "stiff" out of them and noticed right away out of the package that several of the hairs were bent and not evenly tapered like the rest. Disappointed in the quality, but they're usable.

Whether u are an amateur painter or not you won't go wrong using weasel hair brushes. Very pleasant to use.

Retains paint, bristles don't snap back to position and difficult to use

Good brush for the money

I can't believe the damage the paint chip got under my nail and poked me making me bleed! In all nice looking brushes until they came out of the bottom holes that held them in place and although they were glued so the bristles stayed nice there are still many frayed hairs! Not impressed but all in all 6 brushes under $20 not bad deal, but now I will probably cut and sand the bottoms making them into short handled brushes instead of the long handle they suppose to be!
