Backed out Broken M6 Bolt in Block
Broke an M6 bolt off in the block over torquing water inlet for the thermostat housing. Used this to back it out - only needed the reverse drill bit. The joy of seeing the bolt back out was indescribable, lol.

VICTORY! It worked well and here is the proof…..
So pleased - a month trying to get this stripped bolt off and I was running low on transmission fluid! I don’t write many reviews but hoping this helps the next person. Ok so I had a very badly stripped differential fill Allen plug. Standard plug on a Land Rober SUV. This was semi stripped by prior mechanic and I just made it worse without the right tools. Tried the cold chisel method (you can see from photos I whacked the s&@t out of it and no luck. Bought the other stripped allen key versions on Amazon (the ones that have a slight twist in a standard looking hex/Allen to provide grip) and they just won’t get enough grip (not even close in my case so a big waste of time) if you were as badly stripped out as I was. No chance at all. I was really thinking I would need to learn to weld and go buy a welder to attach another bolt on which was going to be my last resort… Tried this and worked extremely well (was done in 20 minutes) with the following comments: As you can see from the photo I used the 11/32 size which fit about a third of the way into the stripped hex differential plug loose. I tap tapped it in gently with a 3 lb hammer to get it about 2/3 of the way in. You don’t need to be poinding it in hard since these have a slight taper which makes them slightly larger as they go further in. As you can see after massively torquing it at the end while successfully remove the fill plug it was ultimately seated about. 90% down. With the large 15mm sized head you know have a solid place to add a socket with a breaker or heavy duty impact. Other comments - IMO very little chance of this snapping off as I see others concerned about - I can’t attest to the quality of the metal but the size I was able to use makes it less likely it would snap. If I were to use the smallest 5-6 (9/32 or less) of the extractors provided I would be more concerned about putting a long breaker bar but at this size no issues. I ended up having to put a 15mm socket on a two foot breaker bar / pipe to get this to finally come loose. And once it did it was literally just finger screwing the rest of it off. Amazing how a seized bolt will hold until it doesn’t. I tried my 3/8 inch (air) impact gun before the breaker bar which is a low clearance since I didn’t have a ton of space. It’s like 350 foot pounds of torque so a mid range impact and it didn’t budge this differential plug although it MAY have weakened it up a bit so my breaker bar worked easier. Best of luck of luck to those reading this but this is the best of 3-4 methods I used and wish I started here since it was easy. Last bit of advice don’t underestimate how much torque you need to get one of these seized plugs off! And if you are in a tight area and able to use one of the provided extractors with some reasonable girth a long breaker bar is the way to go…

Good quality but I still broke one.
Be careful opening the case. The lid was so tight, when it finally gave way, the bits went flying everywhere. The quality of the bits seemed fair enough, but I broke the first one I used trying to extract a busted bolt on a hot agitator. The steel bolt had become hardened from excessive heat and the bit wasn’t even making a mark before it snapped. I ended up replacing the whole part. I grabbed a piece of 1/4 inch steel stock and drilled a couple holes through it without any trouble just to see if the bits could do it. Take your time and use cutting oil when drilling on metals.

Great product and FAST overnight delivery from Amazon
Buy this now and be glad you did like me. I have a 99 Ford Super Duty and stripped out the front driveshaft bolts at the strap/yoke and didn't wanna have to drill them out. I got my ball peen hammer and hammered the 5/16 socket on flush and even and put my 3/8 drive ratchet on and was able to get all 4 bolts out without a problem. This saved me so much time getting my new driveshaft on. It made quick work especially since it was 5 degrees outside. Shout out to Amazon for delivering this over night before 8:00 AM EST. My plow truck is now ready to go back on the road. Harbor Freight sells a similar kit local to me but it's way more expensive and you would have to buy two different kits. This is a great kit plus it's an all in one kit at a much cheaper price delivered to my front door.

Poor quality not worth the price
Poor quality deserved to be returned. I bought it to drill a hole in a broken screw, I bought it based on it is toughest. But it failed to live up with expectations, I closely monitored the temperature, and it broke within mins of use. I will still try to return, you can decline but you deserved to be returned with this quality

Got out a TITANIUM Fork Axle Pinch Bolt, saved me a few hundred bucks!
I was installing new titanium axle punch bolts on my surron dirt bike, and I gave one of the bolts one too many ugga duggas and it decided to snap, leaving most of the bolts threads in my fork leg! That's a crazy expensive and difficult repair/replacement I definitely couldn't do myself, so I researched and found this kit. It had a small enough size bit for the tiny bolt, since my extractor kit I already had only had ones too big. Now this is a bolt made of Grade 5 titanium, so really strong and defiant to everything. I started at the smallest size, drilled for about 15 minutes to make a pilot hole (not the tools fault, again this is titanium), then moved up another size, made the hole bigger. Finally I moved up one more size, and almost immediately it caught and the rest of the bolt came out! I was not expecting it to work, but it did. Saved me a few hundred bucks replacing a fork lower leg 😁. Would recommend! In the attached image, the blue bolt on the left is how it's supposed to be, the right one snapped off. The other picture the rear part that this kit helped me get out!

Extractors are ok, Drill bits not so much
It got the job done I suppose. The drill bits aren’t the sharpest or the most durable. One of the drill bits was worn out in about 60 seconds with cutting oil and made less than a mm of progress. I ended up drilling out the bolt with a different brand drill bit (in under 15 seconds) and only using the extractor portion from this kit.

Works like a charm. We disassembled an Ikea piece of furniture to move it but in the process broke off a few metallic post inside the wood parts. Used the smallest combo of drill and extractor and the broken studs were gone in seconds.

left hand drill bit worked perfectly, managed to drill in to a stud that had snapped ca 10mm inside the head of my engine. As soon as it bit the stud span out with little swarf and no need for the extractor on this occassion. This made a tricky and time consuming job quick and simple.
