Amazing Collector's Edition
The Helmet:- The helmet is super sturdy feeling and nice looking as well, it is probably the best Collector's Edition item I've seen yet.- The eye ports light up a vibrant blue which is great looking- The laser sight, radio communication device, and flashlight all work very well and light up, comms do not actually allow communication.- It's BIG, very big, but it also feels high quality and has plenty of room for your face, and possibly even headphones, haven't tried it yet.- Requires 3 AAA batteries to power the helmet such as voice lines from BT and Jack in the campaign, and the lighting of the eye ports.- Comes with a large steel stand to set the helmet on, no wobble and feels very sturdyPilot Scarf:- Very soft and smooth, comfortable to wear along with the helmet- Seems very easy to clean, haven't had a reason to clean mine yet, but it seems simple- It is also very large, and fits very well with the helmet to give you the Titanfall vibe of being a pilot in a helmet.- Almost like a large, very thin blanket which is cool. The Game:I didn't get to play the Xbox One version of Titanfall 2 yet compared to the PC Digital Deluxe which I also purchased, so my review based on the game's multiplayer and singleplayer will be based off of my PC Digital Deluxe copy.- Very fun and detailed, awesome level design, and great fun, highly recommended. Story is very well built- New mechanics for movement such as sliding and higher movement combos, allowing for faster movement- Movement feels MUCH smoother than the original, at times feeling too smooth!- 6 Titans instead of 3, adds a much larger variety to the game and allows you to know the enemy's load out to figure out how to best counter it. Ex: Ronin can appear and beat up Scorch / Legion, but Scorch / Legion cause massive damage if prepared.- Much larger variety of guns this time around, all feel very unique and have their own special kick behind them in a good way- Very large customization for multiplayer with camos for everything! I'm having a hard time choosing which camo I even want!- Several new pilot abilities which seem all very well balanced and well thought out, each having their own tricks and purposes.- The story is amazing, but ends on a very strange note, it very heavily hints at Titanfall 3 due to how the story ends, no spoilers.- Heavily recommended, 9/10 game. Very fun and never a dull moment.Others:- The patches are very well built and stiff, and are velcro, so no sewing required to add a patch to something.- Jack Cooper USB Dog Tag works very well and is an 8GB USB. No data on the drive, and had 8GB / 8GB straight, freshly formatted!- Little note book is made of metal and feels very nice to hold and comes included with a pen and paper. Can be refilled very easily if the correct size of paper is found. The note book is also held open by a spring, and only stays closed if the pen is in it's storage on the sideVerdict:This is an amazing Collector's Edition that is worth all your money if you are a large Titanfall fan such as myself, and if you also want a Collector's Edition worth your money! The game is solid, and the helmet and accessories are all very well constructed. Score: 9.3 / 10HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great game, but poort planning for delivery.
The single player side of the game is great. A full fledged campaign was sorely missing form the original Titanfall, so it fulfilled a much needed aspect of the game. The personality given you the player's Titan made for an enjoyable character. My only real complaints about the game itself would be that the campaign felt short and somewhat rushed towards the end, and that the need to zoom from the FPS point of view to a little boss cinematic for every Mercenary pilot made the event feel overused and served to remind me that I was playing a game rather than piloting a massive walking tanking into a war zone. It's odd that little things like that can kill your emersion, but it did jack things up for me from time to time.As for the Vanguard edition specifics, the helmet is incredibly detailed. The light features really tie the package together. that being said, this thing is massive. I typically wear a 2XL motorcycle helmet, and this thing seems even larger. Expect to look a little like a kid wearing his dad's hat when looking at yourself in a mirror. The breathability in the helmet also suffers. The lens fogs up easily as ventilation is minimal. The collar of the helmet only serves to trap the hot air and the stiffness of the fabric makes for a little bit of discomfort any time it moves over your face. Finally, the suspension of the helmet is a standard hardhat style adjustable system. It works, but is hardly the most comfortable it could have been. All in all, I guess I was hoping for something a bit more padded inside. This thing is very much a prop, not meant for extended wear, but it sure does look good. And the necessary batteries are all included with the helmet, so all 4 light features are usable as long as you have a small screwdriver to pop open the covers. I hate it when I need to go back out and buy batteries, so this is a great thing to me.The shemagh, on the other hand, is made form a very soft polyester. It's way more comfortable and I could easily wear it for days. I'm not sure how much protection it'd offer from the sun, but I'm fine with that. The morale patches are printed rather than woven, so I don't know how well they will hold up, but they doo look good up close. The notebook has a simple pad of paper inside the metal case, so it should be easy enough to replace if you run out of paper. The only major fault here was the delivery. Amazon did not know how many units of the Vanguard edition they would have to sell, and none were apparently in stock on release day. This left me waiting a week to get my physical copy. While offering me a digital download did help to compensate, better preparation could have prevented the massive frustration over release of the game in the first place, and a more pro-active step on Amazon's part about why the problem occurred, rather than needing to piece together the full story via snippets of multiple people's experiences with customer service, could have done much to alleviate the ongoing tension. As a result of that, I can't give this 5 stars.

The game itself is good, expands a lot on what the first game did but does change a few things here and there. The scarf and dog tag-usb drive is neat and don't seem to be of poor quality, although a real afghan/shemagh/arafat scarf does seem to be a thicker cloth than this one. The note pad case is actually quite nice since its made of metal. The military style patches are also a good quality as the stitching isn't falling apart and the image is clean unlike a low end patch would be. Now for the helmet itlself; its mage out of a decent plastic where it's not too heavy yet doesn't feel overly flimsy. The one size fits all means its a bit large on the normal head, being about the size of a XL full face motorcycle helmet, giving a slight bobble head feel if you would wear a smaller helmet size like a medium. Additionally the rigging in size the helmet is what you would find in a common hard hat so it's relatively easy to adjust the headband tightness, however I feel like the rigging is of a slightly lower quality of what I have in my actual hard hats from work. The visor isn't too hard to see out of unless its dark out and you have the blue glow light on, in which case you mostly see is blue glowing glare of the visor. The decals/paint seem to be average quality where they'll be fine as long as you don't drop or hit it against anything abrasive otherwise it'll scratch. That being said I did find a tiny hard to see nick on it already as I pulled it out of the box, which is unfortunate given the price but I can live with it. The attachments to the helmet such as the flashlight and "lazer" do feel a little delicate so I will do my best not to bang those for fear of breaking them. And Finally the stand for the helmet actually is pretty sturdy. Overall a Good quality, my only wish is that is was a size smaller so it would fit better for cosplay.
