is this what people use to wrap their pullup bars?

I have it on a metal pull-up bar outdoors in Maine. It works very well. Excellent grip even in rain and extreme cold.

Would this tape be good to wrap the grip area of an olympic eight bar?

Used to wrap below my knee, withstood water & provided support.. also wrapped pickleball paddle.. hope this helps

Can I wrap this on my dumbbells handles?

Yup, but IMO, it won’t last long. I used to wrap my jump rope handles in this stuff, but the edges kept curling up quickly. Like within a week of use

Yes you can. I have it on my pull-up bar outside and it is still good. I realize it won’t last forever and I’m about to add another wrap to it. It adds a good grip and the adhesive appears to be strong.
