Easy portable telepromper
This teleprompter is a great setup for a quick and straightforward install. The teleprompter does take some time to put together, so just keep that in mind. I would say it took me about 20 minutes to set up in total. The package basically includes everything you will need for attaching it to almost any lens and adding the phone or tablet that will reflect the words.Once I got it set up, it was just a matter of putting lens ring adaptors on my lens and sliding it into position. Then just placing my phone or tablet on the teleprompter. Maybe 1-2 minutes max, and it doesn't take up much space which is nice. Functionality, is pretty straightforward, the teleprompter simply reflects whatever you have on your phone or tablet. This makes reading scripts much easier for the speaker.I found there are a few ways to get your text to show up on the teleprompter. The first being the Best View app, which definitely has its quirks, but it is the only app that will work with the blue tooth remote setup. The blue tooth remote basically just allows you to remotely scroll the words at your own pace. You also have the option of just letting the app auto-scroll which makes the script scroll at a dedicated speed.Another option if you don't want to use the Best View app, there are a bunch of teleprompter apps in the app store. I was using an app simply called teleprompter and it also did a great job. The downside of using an app that isn't best view, is you cannot use the blue tooth scrolling remote, so you are limited to just letting the auto scroll function do it's job. If you have a good speaker, this usually isn't a problem at all.Another nice feature is the teleprompter has cold shoe mounting locations on top, which would allow you to put a light or microphone on top. I would be cautious with this, since it would be adding more weight to the front of the camera lens which is already heavy due to the teleprompter. All in all, I am happy with this purchase. It is a relatively inexpensive way to have a quick and easy teleprompter setup on the go. The prompter does exactly what it is meant to do. Once you figure out your application of choice to display the script, it should be a breeze to setup and use!

Pretty good form factor
I like its usability that it is on the lens. That makes it easier to put it on and off. However, the app and the remote that came with it is terrible. I don't know if they are still supporting the app. I am using another software.

Say Goodbye to Stumbling Over Words: The Desview T3 Portable Teleprompter
The Desview T3 Portable Teleprompter has been a game-changer for my podcast. The remote control works seamlessly, and once I familiarized myself with the buttons, it significantly improved the quality of my content. The kit comes with everything you need, including various attachments for different lens sizes, a highly functional remote, and a clear reflective screen that allows you to see every word with clarity. The teleprompter screen doesn't negatively impact the video either. The smaller size teleprompter is perfect for my Sony a6400.One issue I have with the app is it's iffy at times. The free app works well, but at times it can reset the setting to their default settings, significantly slowing down the speed of the automation or it may even reverse the mirror effect.Overall, I highly recommend the Desview T3 Portable Teleprompter for anyone looking to enhance the quality of their content.

Decent teleprompter, with a few quirks (haze)
Overall this seems to be a pretty solid teleprompter. I haven’t tried the remote yet but the teleprompter itself seems to be constructed well and is fairly minimal in its design compared to others. The first issue I encountered was that my camera monitor would not fit. The included pieces didn’t stretch big enough to fit more than a phone, and the piece used to screw directly to the 1/4” 20 mount on a monitor doesn’t account for the fact that a lot of monitors are thick and/or not totally flat on the back due to battery mounts, etc. I finally was able to make it work (with a few extra adapters I had luckily bought this week). The next issue was a big one that I really didn’t even think of; haze. The glass on the teleprompter causes a glare/haze in the image due to reflected light on the glass. I first noticed it when I turned on my hair light and realized the image was cloudy. Then I turned it off and realized that the monitor itself was causing a massive blueish haze in the glass. It almost looked like I had a bloom filter or an anamorphic lens or something on. To minimize this I have to turn the brightness on the monitor screen all the way down to its lowest setting. I’m not sure if other glass would reduce this or if this will always be the case with every teleprompter, but I certainly didn’t account for it and now I’m contemplating returning bc I didn’t expect to have to keep my monitor turned all the way down (which is hard to see) just to get this to not ruin the video. I’m not even sure if I can use a hair light or not, I couldn’t seem to find a good position that didn’t cause a haze. Not sure what I’ll do yet.Edit:Before I returned I discovered that the inside of the glass was actually dirty. It had an actual film/haze on it that was causing lights to have this really bad bloom effect. I spent a half hour cleaning inside there as best as I could and tried it again. It was definitely improved but I still found lights reflecting in the glass and causing a visual glare in my footage so I still went through with the return.

Great quality great price
The size of this is perfect. It is plastic but it’s very sturdy for $99. Honestly you can’t go wrong. I’m able to take this with me in my camera bag and travel. It’s a game changer the mini attachments it has fit a multitude of cameras, the only thing that could say would be that the instructions could be put together a little better, but YouTube has plenty of videos to simplify the installation. Once you spend a little time with it. I believe you’ll come to the same opinion that this is a amazing and very cost-effective device.
