Brittle!

First one arrived inside a padded envelope but was broken into five pieces. Almost as brittle as china, apparently. Thankfully, Amazon shipped a new one free of charge.I bought other covers and matching receptable covers by Franklin Brass, and I will be very careful not to over-tighten the screws when installing them.

Nice solid covers and very nice looking

These are pretty solid and thick. The provided whites screws makes it complete when attaching the plate. They are very solid and easy to clean. We purchased the matching wall outlet covers as well. Add elegance to a otherwise bland area.
