Great for bugout bag!
I bought these as a complement to my survival gear. I have used these before and I especially like be able to set them up to catch fish so I can be able to do other tasks without having to be tied down watching fishing gear. These will catch fish for you if you place them in a good location. they are also very verstail and can be used for various applications at campsite or in a bad situation

Seems solid.
They're light, easy to use, and set up. You can find videos on youtube of these things in action and they are legitimate. I haven't used them fishing yet but I did manage to snare my cat by making a slipknot with the provided string, held on pretty well although he didn't run, just kinda pulled his paw up and he rolled around thinking it was a game. Either way he's a pretty big cat at 18 pounds, so I'm sure it'll grab a fish just as easily.Edit: as a note these are light and compact. One reel weighs 50 grams, a AAGrade egg weighs 60 grams. And this can catch you a fish, well worth it.

TRIED AND TESTED PRODUCT
I have only great things to say about this product. It is has been tried and tested over many years by people who have caught more fish with them than I have the time to. I have heard some people complain about not being strong enough or being too strong in spring tension. There are some good video's on ho the web about how to set the tension on these mechanical fishermen in a few seconds that doesn't require tools or disassembly. The above being said, the only negative thing about this product is that some States in the USA do not allow their use in public State or Federal fishing areas. If you're a first time user who intends to do a lot of fishing with these check the laws in your area first, they are often obscure or hidden from plain review on regulatory websites. I had to dig to get a conclusive answer as to their legality but, if you are a prepper and plan on using these only WTSHTF or just don't give a hoot about the game warden in places where they are prohibited it is still a good investment. I wouldn't suggest going against the law though, a couple polluted fish isn't worth the fine.

Yo-Yo automatic reels priced well.
I have had this type of Y0-Y0 fishing reels in the past and when I saw the price I just had to get more. They are well built and should serve me for many more years like my other ones have.

Great
Great for camping or if a survivalist. just throws these in your bugout bag and for get about it. just make sure you have a lot a fishing line if you are not jug fishing or have a boat. the trigger is more sensitive on these which is good.

Fine, but NOT wire triggers.
What I received were not wire trigger yo-yo traps, they were the flat trigger ones. They're cheap enough and I don't mind having extras, but I specifically ordered the wire triggers because I wanted to compare them to the flat triggers.

Great Idea
Although I haven't used these yet, I had to have a few. Automatic fishing when you need to catch fish and have other chores or tasks you need to complete made the a no brainer.
