Rugged Armor Case Compatible with Google Pixel 6 - Matte Black

I've had a couple of quite average phone protectors, cheaper than this Spigen, but in comparison this a) fits like a glove, but is relatively easy to get on / off, b) power and volume button action is unambiguous, but not too firm, c) slightly raised edges around screen and camera lenses provide good protection, as do toughened phone corners, d) it looks smart, good quality, e) it's grippy and tactile, doesn't feel as though it's going to slip out of my hand, and f) wireless charging works perfectly.

I’ve been using this case for years now, and it’s not showing any sign of giving up. I’ve had numerous Spigen case for various phones over the years, and they never disappoint, they’re always sturdy and great quality. The case itself is a snug fit, but not so much that it’s impossible to get off again. The material feels nice in the hand, makes the phone comfortable to use without fear of it being slippy and dropping it. There’s also a tiny lip on the front so if you do (and I have) drop it, your screen isn’t going to take the full force. It’s not a fingerprint magnet, even though it’s black in colour. It’s not faded over the years, it looks exactly the same as the day I bought it. Not even any scratches from being thrown in pockets with keys, or dropped on gravel when I’ve been clumsy. Spigen cases are always value for money. You know you’re getting something of decent quality that will protect your phone.

When I pre-ordered my Pixel6, I ordered a Google case too, thinking I was treating myself. The Spigen I ordered because my phone was going to arrive before its case, so I wanted one to cover the week or so before the Google one arrived. I felt it was worth it cause the Spigen one was cheap, less than half the price of the Google one. And I had a Spigen case on my old Pixel2 for 3 years and I loved it. I knew it would be good. But I still expected the Google case to be better. Had my phone for around a month now and I used the Google case for about two days. The Spigen one is the one I chose to use every day. The Google case was just too smooth and slippy. The Pixel6 is bigger than my old phone, so it was always going to take a while to adjust, but I couldn't keep using the Google one. And the Spigen feels like it's going to be more protective. It still has a slim profile, but is certainly more reassuring. And having had a Spigen case before, I had every reason to expect the same high level of fit and functionality, but I did wonder if there might be a difference with the phone being a brand new model. No problems whatsoever. It just becomes the phone. Whether it's this specific model, or a case for any model of phone, I genuinely will only buy Spigen in future. The materials, fit, safety and value for money are always as good as I could want.

Cannot fault the phone case as tried afew now and they were not to my liking but very pleased as it fits the phone nice and not to bulky still need to drop it and see if my phones protected.

I had the crappy pixel case before this one which has become loose and flappy. This case is so much better. It fits right and wraps around to protect the glass. The buttons work well, they still feel tactile. Plenty of space for the usb to connect. Very happy. It does hide the nice pixel coloured back plate which makes the phone a bit more plain but i think that is a decent trader for safety

Had this case on my Pixel 6 since 2021, excellent case, I work an extremely filthy job which has resulted in hundreds of drops and knocks, aswell as having hobbies which definitely should break a phone. This case has been excellent, and as you can see on upgrade day (pixel 9 today) my pixel 6 still functions and is still in perfect condition

I've been using Spigen cases for years. No wonder I chose this for my new phones. I'm very happy with the case so far. It's quite sturdy, easy to hold. If you want a slim line case, this won't be the one. Definitely not as thick as the Tough Armour, which will make you think you're carrying a book with you. However, the Rugged armor does an excellent job at protecting my phone. It's been nearly a year, I only dropped it a few times, once on a hard surface, but my phone is still all good!

I got this case with my new phone because I had the same case for my previous phone. My previous phone lasted for years in that case and that case still is showing almost zero signs of wear. This new case fits this specific model of phone very well, as I expected and as my previous one did. It provides very good protection and still provides good access to all the ports, cameras and buttons. I'm very happy with this case and have already bought this again and will do so in the future. Although I don't expect to need to until I change the model of phone I'm using again.
