10-Hour Votive Candles

I bought 2 packs of 36 for a Xmas woodworking gift I made (candle holders) for coworkers. They burn very clean, are bright, and definitely last the 15 hour burn rating on them. I have them in Oyster Votive Tealight Glass holders which helps to keep the wax near the wick as the candle burns down.

Loved these candles! They are perfect for my wedding

I bought these for emergencies. Took 3 of them and put them in different holders. Then using 3 four inch clay pots upside down to support a 12 inch clay pot, also upside down, to make a warming oven. With saucer to cover the drain hole. That is more of a youtube thing. Anyway, there was a difference in burn time. I believe that the holder made the difference. The heavy brass one with just a half inch deep hole behind the JOY letters of the front, of which the candle was to back light during the holidays went out first. The wax melted all over and it went out after 7.5 hours. The other two were in glass votives. One clear with some slope to the sides, the other one was a bumpy sided red glass ones that you see a lot of. The red one lasted about 9 hours. The clear one 10 hours. The wax was completely melted and clear to the bottom for it's last 3 hours as it finished up. So, 10 hours under perfect conditions i.e. the right holder and no breezes.

I have been using tea light candles for 50 years. These are by far the WORST candles I have ever seen or used. The wicks are thin and fall out the bottom. If they stay lit for more than a few minutes they will burn a long time however 70% percent of the lit candles fail to burn at all. Do not waste your money on this product. The poor quality is almost unbelievable. I will never buy this product again, I have better things to do with my money.

I bought mine a while back and didn’t know how to use it so well because as soon as I heard a little spark sound on the wick and saw low flames I got scared about the sparking and gave the box away thinking it wasn’t that great but I kept one for decoration. Today I decided to try this one candle I kept all this time. I snipped the top a bit, the flame is low but it’s a long lasting Candle so I decided to give it a chance to burn in a candle jar and I was not disappointed. It burned all the way down to my amazement, no sparks within the hours as expected. So I went ahead and re-ordered what I consider now to be the one of the best candles for my purpose. What I found out was when I put the candle on a flat pillar stand the flame got taller. I can’t believe I gave my candles away. That’s not happening again. I ordered white and will order more in future.

Love these! I use a clear glass holder inside an old railroad lantern and they last for 12-15 hours. Clean burn all the way down with no leftover wax. Will be ordering again!
