Brand new, ships FREE USPS Priority Mail in a box ASAP from NY. Review: If you grew up on 64, this is the real deal - I rule at Mario Kart 64, but whenever I play Mario Kart 8 I totally suck. Not anymore. My muscle memory is alive and well! There's something about that springy joystick and this totally non-ergonomic controller that puts me right at home. Personal preferences aside, this is well made. It really does feel exactly like the original, although the joystick is stiffer when compared to the 27-year-old version. They, much like me, were probably more resilient back then. It seems to hold a charge well, and — this is weird to say because it has become the standard — having no cord feels incredible. Review: It feels like Nostalgia between my hands - Could not be happier to play all the old Nintendo games with this old school throwback! As a kid who grew up in the 90’s with this monster of a controller, I must say my Mario skills have increased exponentially versus using the switch controller. I would recommend for anyone who struggles with the new design like I do. Now, with the combined efforts of muscle memory and nostalgia, I’m Smoking my kids in Mario Party 2, and it’s beginning to irk them in ways that is super satisfactory to any parent :D

Beautiful Addition
Nintendo rarely releases a product that is truly terrible. This, thankfully, is not one of those! I purchased this because I found the button-mapping on the Joycons for the N64 emulator to be so genuinely awful and that, per Nintendo logic, can't be changed. This product totally changes the game though! Getting to play games I grew up on with the same controller I used to play with is so amazing. The deadzones on the stick aren't as big on this wireless controller thank god. It's just a beautiful addition to the switch's capabilities.

So worth it
I’ll admit I wasn’t keen on how pricy it was, but for something not in circulation anymore that’s to be expected, that being said, this was totally worth buying for that authentic, updated N64 nostalgia trip.

Faithful to the original, right down to the worst parts about it
I originally bought this for my mom for her Switch, but had to purchase it on Amazon since she didn't have a Switch Online account at that time to buy it through Nintendo directly. Overall, the controller is faithful to the N64 original, right down to its worst flaw. The joystick is likely to become a crutch from prolonged use as its design from the original N64 controller is subject to the same failings. They've lubricated the bowl with what appears to be silicone grease inside the stick housing to avoid the components grinding away at each other this time, but I don't know exactly how long that will end up lasting over time. The stick also uses potentiometers for inputs as opposed to the laser system used on the original controller. So it's also subject to stick drift in addition to developing a dead zone. Everything else about the controller is executed perfectly, and playing N64 games in anything else doesn't feel right compared to the controller they were intended for. All in all, I gave it a four star rating as it's a perfect recreation of the original N64 controller, with all of its original failings and the addition of potential stick drift from the new potentiometers. I recommend the controller to anybody who wants to play N64 games in the Switch Online catalogue or through an emulator like Project64. But you have to be aware of the possibility that the controller will end up becoming disposable as it's out through its paces.

Excelente control. Ayuda mucho sobretodo en juegos como Golden eye y F zero X. Lo recomiendo mucho para los puristas del N64.

I usually play N64 games with the switch pro controller and it cannot be compared to the original N64 controller because it uses the right stick for the c-buttons - and too often I forget, resulting to random item prompts in heat of battle(especially TloZ). This controller was well worth the price, not only does it spark the nostalgic part of my brain but it plays just as good as I remember. If you play a lot of N64 games - I can easily recommend this controller.

Feels & plays just like the original. Playing N64 games with modern controllers just doesn’t quite cut it, playing N64 games with the controller it was made for it doesn’t get as good as this. Now I can enjoy classics like Goldeneye, Zelda & relive some 90’s nostalgia with Banjo-Kazooie (especially Christmas time playing Freezeezy Peak) a must for 90’s gamers who grew up with N64 not just for nostalgia but for better experience overall

Es idéntico a los del N64 original. Mi único tema, es que esos delays y truquitos que uno se adaptaba y hacia con el control análogo, aquí no responde igual. Ya es mucho más sofisticado. Se siente retro, pero no es retro.
