This product has changed my life I suffer from extreme dehydration and a need for increased salt due to POTS Syndrome. I have had to be hospitalized just to receive IV fluids due to the extreme dehydration that POTS can cause. I always carry a bottle of artisan water and have ever stocked up on Pedialyte and Gatorade yet nothing seemed to make a huge difference until this product. I went to a local health and fitness store and purchased some electrolyte powder to add to my water and that’s when I first saw these tiny packets. I purchased a few with my other electrolyte powder and left. After a few more hospital visits and stays I was quite unhappy about my lack of ability to keep my sodium intake up to stave off the low blood pressure and near fainting and dehydration. I didn’t want to get an IV port surgically implanted if I could keep from it as it had almost come to that due to finding my veins when dehydrated is so difficult for the hospital. That to me was a sign from above so I sent out for half a months’ worth from the local retailer! I have been enjoying and taking this whenever I feel weak or my blood pressure drops too low and I am feeling faint or exhausted for months now. Gone are the days and nights of ER and hospital trips for dehydration and low sodium! I can go out or invite family and friends over and know I will have a far less chance of fainting and I also can let go of the terrible feeling of shaking as much as I used to when very dehydrated. I even told my Cardiologist about this and how much it has helped me and gave a packet of it to his team to try. He said he loves this product and benefits and will tell his other patients with electrolyte and dehydration issues! This is far better than having to have a permanent IV port placed to give me IV fluids and I can take these anytime anywhere! • Liquid IV’s customer service is amazing! I recently purchased a bag of the lemon-lime my favorite flavor here on Amazon due to my needing more and my local health store was out of stock at the time. When it arrived the bag and content may have been squished and were damaged. This was most likely due to our postal carrier as we have been having issues with them not handling persons packages with the care they deserve. When I contacted Liquid IV here on Amazon they refunded me asap and even told me I can purchase direct from their website for a discount! One of my favorite flavors!! Tastes great, it majes me feel hydrated and motivates me to drink more water since I dislike water taste on its own. The size is good because I use one packet to make 2 or 3 glasses. It all depends on how intense you want it to taste. Overall easy to dissolve and definitely gives me more energy. I love it!

It dissolves pretty quickly. I love the taste! It helps so much with hydration, I recommend it. It was recommended by doctors for someone I know that was having issues with their kidneys. I believe it's worth the price. It helps with energy, as well, because you're not going to have much energy if you're dehydrated. It's not meant for pain relief, or increasing your nail strength. However, I still recommend it

I have used Liquid I.V. for a couple of years now. I am an active athlete and do an hour's worth of heavy Cardio three times per week. I can attest to it's hydrating ability from blood tests. I had labs done 1.5 hours after a workout where I consumed 16 ounces of the drink. My Red Blood Cell count was precisely in the middle of the normal range. If you lack proper hydration, the count is much higher. I experienced this in my most recent labs. This stuff works or me. Down side is the fact that it's cost is 40% higher than Gatorade on a per ounce basis. Weight this against Liquid I.V.'s claims contains 3X the amount of electrolytes than Gatorade. However, a big one for me is that fact that I don't have to waste resources by having to recycle Gatorade plastic bottles. YOU BE THE JUDGE if it would work for you.

I dont know why this doesn't show the nutritional information on the product page. Ingredients, yes, but amounts, no. If I was shopping around, I likely would never have purchased this. But I had tried it before and already knew that it was a legit electrolyte replacer. But here's the thing. There are any so-called electrolyte replacers on the market. Don't buy this if you are just looking to flavor your water. Buy this if you profusely sweat, work hard labor outside, or go for long intense hikes, or for emergency use if water is scarce (I like keeping some in my car). A true electrolyte replacer of a serious kind will have quite a bit of sodium (and sugar) and will not taste all that great. But it will help your body quickly, and could be matter of feeling well or feeling bad, or maybe difference between life and death. It isn't water itself that hydrates you, it is minerals/electrolytes. Did you know that if you drank too much water and didnt have enough actual electrolytes, that you are in fact dehydrating yourself further? This is because your body is being diluted. So add in an "electrolyte multiplier" such as Liquid IV, and you will be set. Keep this in mind in case you are the type that aims for drinking a gallon or so of water a day (or be sure to eat foods that will replenish electrolytes). Not seriously dehydrated? Then go with something more low key. Something that may have just a little sodium, sugar, and minerals. Some are even sugar free. That's good for those not into drinking water or much of any fluid or watery foods, of for light weight activity, basic hot day, just feeling run down. Just need the little extra to top off small losses. Save Liquid IV for more intense stuff, big electrolye losses. 4.5 stars. Will likely buy again. Would like to see them include the detailed packet information, That being said, I bought it for use in intense sweat situations and true dehydration scenarios. I am a bit of a prepper, and so I will be adding this to my hiking bag, emergency car bag, get home bag/bug out bag, medical kit. If food is scarce or low or only foods with little sodium or other minerals are available, then the need to replace is that much more vital.
