Simple, effective toothbrushes
These brushes do a good job cleaning and feel comfortable to use. The medium bristles strike a good balance between firmness and comfort. Pros: effective cleaning, comfortable grip, good value Cons: basic design Bottom line: Solid everyday toothbrushes at a fair price.

Good value pack, but bristles felt too hard for my teeth
I bought the Colgate Extra Clean Toothbrushes in medium because I liked the idea of getting a bulk pack for the whole family. The handles are comfortable to hold, and the circular cleaning bristles do a nice job of reaching different areas of my teeth. However, after using them for a while, I found the bristles were too hard for my gums and teeth. They felt a bit rough, and I ended up switching to a softer brush because my mouth felt sensitive after brushing. The price for six toothbrushes is definitely a good deal, and they seem durable, but if you have sensitive teeth or gums, I’d recommend going with the soft version instead. Pros: ✅ Affordable bulk pack with six brushes ✅ Ergonomic handle is comfortable to hold ✅ Circular bristles help clean hard-to-reach areas ✅ Durable and sturdy construction Cons: ❌ Bristles felt too hard and rough for my teeth and gums ❌ Not ideal for people with sensitivity issues

Great for extras!
I keep these as toothbrushes to have when guests stay the night and forget a toothbrush. They’re a good quality and very affordable.

Colgate Extra Clean Soft Toothbrush
Colgate Extra Clean Toothbrush Soft is a great budget friendly toothbrush that gets the job done without irritating your gums. The bristles are soft but still firm enough to clean thoroughly, especially with the angled cleaning tip bristles that help reach the back teeth easily. It feels comfortable while brushing and doesn’t scratch the gums like some other brushes can. The handle is easy to grip, giving good control for gentle but effective brushing. For the price, the quality is surprisingly good, and it leaves my teeth feeling clean and smooth after every use. It’s a solid everyday toothbrush, especially for anyone with sensitive gums or who prefers a softer brushing experience. Definitely recommend if you want comfort and cleanliness without spending much. Design: The design is simple but very functional. The full-head shape covers more surface area, while the angled bristles and cleaning tip end help reach tricky spots, especially the molars. The handle is lightweight and textured for a secure grip, which helps with precision and pressure control. It’s not fancy, but it’s ergonomic, durable, and clearly built for practical, everyday use. Taste / Feel: Even though toothbrushes don’t have a flavor themselves, this one pairs really well with mint toothpastes like Colgate Total. It doesn’t leave any plastic or chemical after taste like some new brushes can. The brushing feel is smooth, gentle, and clean, which enhances the overall taste experience of the toothpaste you use with it. The soft bristles make the mint taste feel refreshing rather than harsh, giving a pleasant and clean mouthfeel after every brush.

Decent toothbrush. Nothing fancy. Gets the job done.
So when Oral-B made a huge mistake and decided to discontinue offering a 40-bristle, medium-stiffness, ADA approved, indicator toothbrush--probably the best toothbrush in the world--a toothbrush I have been happily buying every 3 months for the past, I don't know, 20 years? 30 years? ...doesn't matter, I went looking for a replacement. It seems that everything is now soft-bristled, which means it just pushes grime around instead of actually cleaning, or the bristle count went down to 35 or less, which means you wear out the brush much faster and you need to brush more. It seemed that the best brush configuration was becoming unobtainum, probably for the same reason Oral-B messed up--to do a cash grab on consumers. I found these, still offered in the right and best configuration so I decided to give them a try. They are not as good as the Oral-B. The bristles have a sharper cut to them which means you have to go easy around your gums. I think the Oral-B bristles had smoother ends. I like the stiffness of these. I can feel the brush do its job and clean quickly and efficiently. The handle is about 1/2" shorter than the Oral-B which most people may not notice, but as an adult with large glove size hands, I noticed. It is not a deal breaker, but it just shows once again, how excellent the Oral-B was. I have not decided if I want to recommend these brushes or not. They certainly do the job and the cost is acceptable, but I am still looking for the best replacement for the Oral-B 40-medium Indicator. I got a hold of some chinesium versions that seem to do well, but if they become hard to get, then I will probably end up recommending these. I can find them easily enough. They are even on Amazon Subscribe & Save. If this is the last vestige of the right toothbrush, I may stock up. You should be happy with this brush. It is really good. I am looking for something rather specific, hence my reservations. It easily lasts 3 months. I am trying one for 6 and it seems to be holding up. The bristles are starting to bend after 5 months, so we are going to be close. These are good brushes.

These toothbrushes are a great deal for the price. The bristles are a bit on the harder side but clean very effectively, The grip handle is comfortable, and the built-in tongue cleaner is a nice bonus. Overall, good quality and excellent value for everyday use.
