Dubai is very safe so there’s no “tourist giveaway” to worry about with carrying this around. Review: Excellent book - perfect size for when out and about exploring. As well as having a useful map, this guide was really useful as it was concise and with great recommendations and appropriate detail for sights, itineraries, restaurants and shops. The additional visitor information at the back was useful and this book basically provided all the information we needed to allow us to plan and enjoy our trip to Dubai. I've previously only really used the Lonely Planet books but will certainly consider Rough Guides as well when buying our next travel guide books.

My Husband is visiting his son in Dubai later this year so will be shown around very well I'm sure however, I thought I'd give him some hints and tips to look out for too. It has loads of info and a good map in a small product.

Quite a good read, nice and compact. I have not visited Dubai yet, but looking forward to implementing the Rough Guide suggestions and recommendations. I like the idea of the "pull out" map. Although in the past I have enjoyed Time Out guides.
