Good Replacement
Our original onion keeper broke so reviewed a number of different products. I settled on this one for the ease of use, and more importantly -- keeps the onion smell contained. Good value, good size, and can recommend this item.

No more stinky fridge
This little holder really holds the smell. Simple to use and the onion smell does not escape. It’s a bit in the small size, but works great for half a medium onion.

Worth it!
This is a nice little product. It only holds half of an onion unless you cut the onion up. It keeps the onion fresh, and keeps your refrigerator from smelling like onions. It is easy to clean. I dropped it on the kitchen tile floor, and I was positive it would have a crack in it, but it held up without any cracks. It lives another day for my clumsy hands. I am going to order a second one so I can save an entire onion. Definitely worth buying.

Good onion keeper
I was looking for the Tupperware onion keeper but see that they no longer make it. I decided on this one due to positive reviews. I am very pleased. I was surprised at how this retains the odor inside. You cannot smell the onion through this and it is easy to clean and fits most onions. Some are too big, but it does a great job overall. Very happy with it. I like it better than the Tupperware onion keeper.

I am very pleased with this. No more onion smell in my refrigerator. Easy to open and close. Washes great in the dishwasher. Good quality.

Wow.. never thought...
You can knock me over with a feather... this thing actually keeps onions fresh and the smell out of your fridge. Seriously... have had it over a year now and neither my husband nor I ever remember if we have started a new onion. Between tacos and Sunday morning breakfast we use onions but never a full one. I have stored half an onion in this thing for over 3-4 weeks and fridge never smells and onion is always good. AMAZED!!!

Onion keeper to contain the scent
I bought this as a replacement for previous one's I've owned. So far this one is sturdy and does the job of keeping the onion scent to itself, instead of throughout the fridge. The only suggestion I'd have is that there should be a couple of ridges to keep the onion off the bottom of the container, to allow air circulation within the keeper and maintain freshness. Time will tell on sturdiness but it seems pretty solid and I expect it to last quite a while.
