The case was for cordless dewalt router. The router with battery fits very well in case.

I like that it is semi hard case to protect a tool I don't use a great deal and has some storage inside the case for some tools and tips I use most but are expensive and want to protect.

Very durable and semi rigid case. This case is far better than the Dewalt recommended case and actually a lot more rigid and closer to a semi hard case. The Dewalt version is no where close to rigid like this one. Plus this one has an internal pocket to hold the instruction manual and wrench. Seems to be well built. Has durable stitching and quality materials. Worth the price.

I like to get nicer tools but they rarely come with good cases. I've bought this case for the router, and I've also bought Khanka's case for the Franklin Sensors FS710PRO studfinder. Both cases are made to a reasonable quality and fit the tool itself very well. So, it appears this brand is somewhat reliable in my experience. It adds to the cost of the purchases, but I also have most of my tools in cases like this and its generally worth it to me cause the tools aren't cheap. For this router case specifically, it has a pocket to hold some extra stuff but it isn't that useful. It would be way better if it had small elastic holders for router bits, or a zipper that fully closes a pocket area. The bit wrench also isn't really a great fit for this case because it can float around in there. All that said, my main goal is to offer some measure of protection for the tools if they fell off a shelf or when I'm moving them about and this accomplishes that goal.
